Mornings start with coffee on your private balcony—laptop open, high-speed Wi-Fi humming—before you swap screens for city adventures. Evenings unfold around the fire pit on the shared patio or curled up with board games, books, and your favorite show on Roku/Smart TV.
Recharge in three cozy bedrooms—king, queen, and twin/trundle—each outfitted with blackout curtains and luxury pillows for blissful rest. Whip up a local feast in the fully equipped kitchen, then gather at the antique dining table (seats six) for meals, meetings, or creative brainstorms.

This is not a generic hotel stay. It’s a real Memphis experience in an antique home—city energy, quirks, charm, and all. Expect the sounds of the city, creaking floor boards, an eclectic mix of neighbors, and a glimpse of real life happening all around you. Grocery stores here have security guards (as they do across most urban centers), construction pops up from time to time, and yes, we still wave to our neighbors from the porch.
If you're looking for sterile perfection or luxury suburbia, this probably isn’t the right fit. But if you’re up for comfort, character, and being close to everything, you’ll feel right at home. Please note this is a duplex with another unit below. Because the home has original wood floors, you may occasionally hear normal footsteps or movement from neighboring guests. If you are very sensitive to noise, this property may not be the best fit.

Guest access
Guests have full private access to the upstairs apartment in this two unit duplex, including a sunny balcony off the living room—your own nook for coffee, conversation, or quiet exhale. The shared back patio, accessible via the kitchen stairway, includes a grill, fire pit, hammock, and an assortment of seating for communal unwinding. The in-unit laundry, discreetly located just off the kitchen, is a secure and private space for your use. Free street parking is available on North McNeil Street.
This unit is one apartment (upstairs) in an up/down duplex. If other guests are in the downstairs unit, for everyone's safety and comfort in shared outdoor spaces, host will share basic info about each booking with the other guests.
Other things to note
This private apartment occupies the entire upstairs of a 1924 duplex. If you’re interested in renting the downstairs unit as well, feel free to contact us.
