Together with me and Raja, my gentle giant, you’ll enjoy simple living, beautiful nature and evenings spent molding clay over a warm cup of tea.

The space
🟢 The House: Your Space of Comfort and Quiet
• The Living Room: A spacious room with large windows, where the sun rises.
• The Studio: A bright, plant-filled space where we create together, and where you can find ready-made ceramics and jewelry.
• The Kitchen: A welcoming space with a cooker and a wood-burning stove. You'll also find comfortable armchairs, a shared pantry, and a separate refrigerator for guests.
• Bedrooms: The house has four welcoming bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own Airbnb listing, your specific room will be assigned with care upon arrival, depending on availability.

🟢 Clay Workshop Included in Your Stay
Every day spent here includes a one-hour clay workshop for two guests, usually held in the evening.
• The joy of creating with your hands, without a pottery wheel: I’ll guide you through simple hand-building techniques (pinching, slab building, and coil building) so you can explore the texture of the clay and create mugs, plates, bowls, or little figurines.
• How your pottery comes to life: The entire process takes about a week and a half. It includes shaping, drying, a first firing at 950°C, glazing, and a final second firing.
• What you can do with the pieces you create:
1. Take them home unfired as beautiful decorative pieces.
2. Leave them for firing and return anytime within the next 6 months to glaze them yourself.
3. Leave them in my care: I’ll fire them, glaze them in one color, and send them to you by courier.

🟢 Silver Clay Jewelry Workshop
Optionally, you can create your own ring or pendant using silver clay. We fire it on the spot with a torch, transforming it into fine silver, and you leave wearing a piece of jewelry created by your own hands.

🟢 Explore the Surroundings
If you’d like to explore at nature’s pace, many adventures begin right from the house:
• Mountain trails in Piatra Craiului National Park: From gentle walks to higher-altitude trails, with a full hike to the ridge taking around 7–8 hours round trip.
• Slow walks and bike rides through the nearby villages: Ciocanu, Peștera, and Fundata, with their traditional houses, open meadows, and mountain views.
• Picnics: Grab a blanket and enjoy a quiet moment surrounded by hills and open views.
• Stargazing evenings: On clear nights, the sky fills with stars, making evenings outdoors just as special as the days spent exploring.
• Seasonal beauty all around: From wildflower meadows and hay fields to autumn colors and snowy landscapes.

Guest access
During your stay, you’ll have access to your private bedroom and all shared spaces, including the living room with its wood-burning stove, the art studio, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and pantry, and the garden.

I’m happy to get to know my guests at the natural rhythm of life here.
We’ll meet during the workshops. The rest of the time, I leave space for quiet moments, nature, and your own pace.
