This exclusive Eco Retreat is a secluded, off-the-grid escape for family & friends who want to stay together, but sleep separately. With two Cabins and a Campsite there is space for up to 8 people. Having the whole property to yourself, you will enjoy absolute privacy. Spend carefree days on the beach, unwind in nature or fill your stay with little adventures. We are part of a unique ecosystem, in between the Pacific Ocean and the Mangroves, as part of the Padre Ramos Natural Reserve.
The space
If you book this option, you have the whole property to yourself. It doesn't matter if you're just 2 people longing for absolute privacy, a family of 4 seeking full immersion in nature, or a group of 8 wanting to have a good time.
Groups with 5, we will offer additional sleeping space in our comfortable tents.
NOTE: Our accommodation has no electricity, but we have rechargeable lamps and small portable fans. You can use electricity to charge your phone and other stuff in the Rancho, which is a 20-second-walk away from your bed :)
Guest access
Our Rancho is your living and dining room - equipped with hammocks, tables, books and games, offering electricity and shade during the hottest hours of the day. Here you can refill your water bottles and make some tea, coffee or instant juice.
You have access to the communal kitchen with a 6-burner-stove and a fridge and everything you need in order to prepare your meals.
But we are also happy to cook meals for you (fish, chicken, vegetarian, vegan) if you prefer it that way!
Other things to note
MEMANTA is a conservation project, that means we work with sea turtles during the nesting and hatching season from July till January. If you want, you can get involved and release hatchlings or go turtle watching with us!
We work mostly at night and during the late afternoons. We ask our guests to respect and facilitate our work in every aspect possible.

Where you’ll be
Peninsula Venecia, Chinandega, Nicaragua
Don't come here to party - beautiful Venecia gives you an impression of how these worlds' beaches looked like before development set in. We are part of a small community of fishermen and farmers. You can find simple shops as well as a restaurant and bar. But that's about it.
You can cook in the communal kitchen, eat out or have us cook for you at an additional cost.
