The space
This location is special in that it is located in a forest like setting, yet right next to multiple different beaches and hiking trails.
Enjoy the fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to make your stay feel elevated. Featuring modern BOSCH appliances, OUR PLACE pots/pans, MIELE Espresso machine, FELLOW tea kettle and grinder and all the cooking utensils, plants, bowls, cups, wine glasses etc. to make your stay extra special. Olive Oil, salt, pepper and spices provided.
Although our kitchen is large, the main refrigerator is on the smaller size. So in order to avoid any frustrations, we added an additional fridge in the washer/dryer closet. This is great to store your soda water, wine or platters. This refrigerator is also where the ice is stored. How we built an entire house without an ice maker, we couldn't tell you. (Actually we could and its kind of funny, but here we are, with ice trays :))
COFFEE & TEA:
All new Miele espresso machine for either espresso OR drip coffee, a Chemex Pour-Over Glass Coffee Maker, Fellow coffee grinder as well and French Press. We know morning coffee rituals are important, so we wanted you to have options. Coffee beans provided, from rotating Portland roasters and caffeine and decaf tea options.
SLEEPING + BATHROOMS:
* Bedroom 1: King Floyd bed and Parachute bedding. 1 Full Bathroom can be access from bedroom. Large windows that face the forest. You can often see deer walking by in the early morning.
* Bedroom 2: King Floyd bed and Parachute bedding.
* Bedroom 3: 2 Queen bunk beds. These are adult bunks, with plenty of space on either side and extra headroom height. Parachute bedding.
* Bathrooms: 1 full bath located off bedroom 1. The 2nd full bath located in hallway. All towels provided in vanity. Shampoo/Conditioner in showers. 2 full showers (no bath). 1 outdoor shower (with hot water) located outside to rinse after a day at the beach.
LIVING/DINING SEATING: Images in our listing represent all seating options in the Living and Dining Space. Featuring Sara Ellison Float Sofa from Design within Reach and two plush chairs from Rove Concepts. We also have 5 Crate and Barrel stools at 25" height and 8 Crate and Barrel dining chairs that are 34"H with a seating height of 18.5"
OUTDOOR SEATING: Patio table, chairs and bench located on main patio. Seats 8. One bench located off bedroom patio, seats 2.
OUTDOOR FIRE OPTIONS:
Patio pellet stove and pellets provided.
Fire pit available but please bring your own firewood. Can be purchased at market in Netarts right before you arrive at the property.
DOGS:
We love dogs so much, but not every dog and owner are the same :). Please follow these rules if you plan to bring a dog with you.
No puppies under one year. 2 dog maximum per stay.
Dogs must be spayed or neutered.
Well behaved on leash and owners agree to keep dogs on leash when outdoors (leash rules intended to protect wildlife, as well as the neighbors).
Under no circumstances can dogs be on furniture, please bring dog beds with you!
A dog towel and blanket are in the basket under the entry way bench. Please wipe paws or use outdoor shower to rinse muddy/sandy feet.
Do not leave dogs in house alone.
Dog bowls are provided (bottom drawer in kitchen).

Make sure your reservation accounts for every person staying. Please don't invite extra guests other than those included in your reservation.

Other things to note
Meena Lodge is located in Oceanside Oregon. We live in a small neighborhood surrounded by forest trees and wildlife frequent the place often! Bring apples to feed the deer :). Oceanside beach and Netarts Bay are only a 1 minute drive away, as well as other beaches and hikes nearby. Our guide will provide more information on restaurants and locations to visit.
Meena Lodge is located 5 minutes from Cape Meares, 10 minutes from Tillamook, and 25 minutes from Pacific City. Oceanside village is small, but does offer several restaurants. All have good local fare as well as a market in Netarts offering good wine options.
A few other things to note:
- We have fast wifi for those of you looking to work from the coast!
- Our home was built in 2023. Everything is brand new so you shouldn't run into many issues (i.e. windows leaking, appliances not working, heating not working etc.) BUT if something does seem off, please let us know so we can send someone out to fix it right away! We want you to be comfortable during your stay. As our house is new, there are still things that need to be added over time, but if you feel like something is missing, send us a message so that we can add that for the next time you visit! For instance, we know we need more living room lounge seating, but that will come with time. We also plan to add a sauna and outdoor fire pit/seating. So check IG for updates as those things get added!
- The home is a quiet retreat and not set up for you to invite extra guests or throw parties. Please be honest in your booking about the number of people staying and if you plan to invite extras - communicate this in advance.
- We love hosting events (elopements, retreats etc.) and photoshoots but please coordinate with us before booking to discuss details. :)
