Meadowbrook studio is an ideal base to explore the surrounding Wicklow countryside. Avondale Forestry park is only 10 mins walk with its fantastic trails, stunning scenery, tree top walk and viewing tower.

A 15 min drive will take you to many Wicklow attractions such as Glendalough, The National park, Glenmalure valley & waterfall, Kilmacurragh Botanic gardens, Greenane Maze, Avoca Mill & cafe and Wicklow Town

Hidden Valley aqua park and Clara Lara fun park are within 5 mins drive.

The space
The studio has its own private entrance. Clean, fresh and cosy rooms with underfloor heating in the bathroom. A comfortable double bed with crisp cotton bed linen. (A travel cot is also available on request)

Kitchen area with tea and coffee making facilities, Nespresso machine and pods provided, microwave, toaster and fridge.

We also provide continental self serve breakfast options of cereals, brown bread, jam, butter, multiples of fresh fruit, & orange juice. Bottled water is also available and a selection of herbal teas.

The studio has an excellent wifi connection and a smart TV so you can connect to your own Netflix, Amazon or Apple account.

Bathroom has a power shower. Mirror with built in light. Towels are provided along with free toiletries. Please note that it can take 20 minutes for the water to heat for showers.

We can provide a BBQ (please bring your own charcoal) or perhaps bring your own portable BBQ and we will provide a stand and utensils, just let us know in advance so we can have everything ready for you.

This is a self-contained apartment for your exclusive use and is accessed via its own front door.

Guests can enjoy the private enclosed garden and take in the views of the Wicklow mountains and fantastic sun sets.

The local village is 2km where there are train and bus links along with a supermarket, coffee shop, restaurant and pubs serving food.

Parnell Memorial Park is a beautiful green area, with sculptures and winding paths and outdoor gym, as well as a great playground for the kids.

The 'Jubilee Looped Walk' will take you through the famine graveyard, the original mass path, millennium forest and along the banks of the Avonmore River. The route starts at the church car park and is one of many trails in the area.

Head to the Samuel Hayes suspension bridge and take a walk along the Avonmore way, though the forest and alongside the Avonmore river and Clara nature reserve. For a longer route, park at the Meetings of the Waters and take the looped 10K hike to Avoca Miners cross and take in spectacular views of the Vale of Avoca.

For those interested in cycling their way around County Wicklow, you will find many interesting routes close by, such as the 'Meetings of the waters loop' which takes in Rathdrum, Meetings of the water, Avoca, Aughrim, Glenmalure and Glendalough/Laragh.
We are only 10 mins drive from Carrick Mountain bike trails and we can provide secure bicycle and sport equipment storage
