This gîte is very spacious, in a fenced and wooded plot of 2000 m², with great views of the surrounding mountains. I invite you to look at all the photos, so you will visit this 50 m² vacation rental and discover some surrounding landscapes.

The first room consists of a seating area and a built-in kitchen, equipped with an induction hob, oven, extractor hood, refrigerator, microwave oven and all the necessary equipment.(And, dish towels are at your disposal)
For your convenience, the vacation rental also has central vacuuming, TV, and Wi-Fi access.
Depending on your "cooking" inspirations, we can lend you raclette equipment, pierrade, waffle makers, pancake makers...
Two coffee makers are at your disposal, a classic and a Senseo.
For lovers of grilling..., we have equipped the cottage with an electric plancha and an extension cord, ... because regularly the Hérault is classified in red vigilance for the use of fire, and therefore wood-fired grilling is prohibited.... So you have the parade :-)

The bedroom is very spacious (24 m²), with a 140 double bed, a 90 bed and storage furniture.
Bed linen is not provided, nor are bath towels. However, if you wish, we can make them available, for 15 Euros per bed.
The bathroom is equipped with a sink, walk-in shower, toilet, washing machine and hairdryer.
About the wood-burning stove, it is quite functional and wood can be provided.
Depending on your consumption, you can leave a tip, because the gîte is already heated via a heated floor, air conditioning or radiator, at no extra cost :-) ....

A little clarification, which could be useful to you...
On site, we have 2 gîtes, the one you are viewing this description of, "Le Mas d'Hélène" can accommodate 3 people, but also the gîte "La Clef des Champs" with a capacity of 4 people. Depending on your vacation desires, with family or friends, this could allow you to preserve your privacy, while residing in the same vacation spot.

You have at your disposal:
- a pétanque court, ping pong table (during the summer only, because it is installed on the lawn) 
- An outdoor terrace, with table and chairs to enjoy the scenery...
In our accommodation conditions, I insist on the fact that we do not accept pets, on the one hand, because our own pets do not enter the house and on the other hand, because on our property, we already have 2 dogs (English setters, obviously, very nice), but incompatible with the presence of other dogs or cats...

During your stays in our lodges, we have noticed how much the presence of our chickens and their chicks, ducks, pigeons, rabbits... was appreciated by families and their children. Especially since you can access these animals without risk, but I make this clarification because those who do not like animals will have to look for another accommodation :).

The village of Mons La Trivalle is located at the foot of the Caroux-Espinouse and Somail massifs, at the confluence of the Jaur, Orb and Gorges d'Héric rivers, so you are ideally located to practice a wide variety of activities. To enhance your stay you can go hiking, canoeing, climbing, tree climbing, mountain biking, swimming, discover the small villages, go fishing (rivers, but also lakes, the Raviège and the Saut de Vezoles 35 minutes by car), go mushroom picking (very famous for picking ceps and chanterelles),... and take care of yourself at the spa of Lamalou Les Bains....

The photos presented on the site are all taken within a perimeter of less than 10 kilometers, so you can discover the Gorges d'Héric (hiking or swimming), the Caroux and Espinouse massifs and superb stone villages in the middle of the vineyards (Roquebrun, Vieussan, ... and Olargues, a classified village).

In the immediate vicinity of the cottage, you have a 60-kilometer bike path that crosses the town of Mons la Trivalle (Bédarieux/Mazamet) as well as a canoe-kayak base.
When you are staying in our cottage, we have published a small guide with all the useful addresses and opening periods:
