The cottage can be configured with one (upto 4 guests) or two (upto 6 guests) air-conditioned bedrooms A home away from home - well connected yet physically isolated and seamlessly embedded in nature - with jaw dropping views.

Independent accommodation for upto 6 guests. A second bedroom on the ground floor accommodates upto three additional guests. Suited for short or long stay and work from home . The suite comprises one or two bedrooms, one or two bathrooms, utility area, living room with open kitchen and two patios.

The accommodation has fiber optic internet & excellent 4G wi-fi connectivity.

We can make travel arrangements at very competitive costs.

When we are on the property, which is most of the year, we can provide home cooked organic meals using vegetables grown on our farm, cooked in high quality oil as per a seasonal menu.

We serve meals in hot cases. However, you need to project meal requirements a day in advance. If meals are essential to your stay, please confirm our ability to serve you meals before making a booking.

We arrange for taxi pickup from and drop off to Amb Andora railway station at competitive rates.

Vayu Kutir itself offers hiking trails, riverside walks, barbecue & bonfire. You can enjoy watching fish (Koi, Goldfish) in our aquarium standard large fishpond. We have two smaller fish ponds besides a lotus and a lily pond.

A day spent at Vayu Kutir can be as much fun as a day spent at any destination! Many of our short stay guests lament when leaving, "We wish we had known how beautiful the property is. We would have set aside a day for Vayu Kutir!"

The property is located within Pong reservoir bird sanctuary, 150 m from Beas river. It's at the edge of village Diyara on the outskirts of a forest. The nearest house is 100-m away.

Located on 1400 sm farmland with vegetable plantations and fruit trees, Vayu Kutir is perched on high ground overlooking river Beas & Pong reservoir with the Dhauladhar range as backdrop.

There is an easy hiking trail through the surrounding jungle which starts from the cottage. A second hiking trail that starts from the cottage takes you along the banks of river Beas. In both cases you get to see a lot of birds.

Essentials, such as groceries and fresh vegetables, are available at multiple outlets within 4 kms. There are several dhabas within the same distance. Amazon delivery is available.

Three famous temples - Jwala ji, Chintpurni, and Baglamukhi are between 25 to 35 min drive by car.

Heritage villages Pragpur and Garli are 6 & 8 km respectively.

Kangra fort is around 50 min drive.

Masroor rock cut temple is around 1 hr 15 min drive.

Hill stations Dharamshala & Palampur are 2 hr & 2 1/2 hr drive respectively.

Jamble Bassi, Dada Sibba & Nagrota Surian - excellent viewing spots for winter migratory birds - are between 30 mins to 1 hr drive.

Our guests can make day trips to the above destinations and return to the comfort and warm hospitality of Vayu Kutir at night, thus avoiding the hassles of booking hotel accommodation at multiple destinations.

The adjacent forest is known to have Deers, Wild boars, Jackals, Foxes, Porcupines, Civets, Mongoose, Monitor Lizard. Guests are required to exercise caution near the forest area.
