Quaint alpine hut in the Semmering area
Simple furnishings - see photos! Photovoltaic system, two wood stoves, one of which is a cooker, grill tray, several grills, sun terrace or stable for 20 people, covered dining area for 10 people. New, fully equipped kitchen, new mattresses, but no shower! - Hot water only on the stove.

The space
Quaint, simple alpine hut. Three double beds, several single beds available. A single room, a large stable, a playground, a large sun terrace for 20 people, covered dining area for 10 people, hay benches in the stable in rainy weather for 20 people, carport for two cars, other cars can park 50 m away on the forest road. There is plenty of wood available.

Towels, dish towels, sheets and covers or sleeping bags, lighters, flashlights as well as garbage bags and, if necessary, charcoal and lighters. The garbage must be disposed of independently in Steinhaus am Semmering. Final cleaning must be carried out by yourself.

Guest access
The keys must be picked up a few days in advance in Vienna, Graz or Wr. Neustadt. The main entrance is on the side where the fountain is. From there, you can only open the other two entrances from the inside, then unlock the padlocks from the outside. Please handle the crossbars carefully, do not scratch them, but open them as easily as possible!

The kitchen is newly decorated and a lot of other things have been newly adapted. The refrigerator is the well trough in front of the house, which is constantly 4 degrees. It is a very simple, rustic alpine hut, i.e. you may encounter animals (e.g. deer, foxes, hares, dormice, mice, spiders, etc.).
The hygienic conditions must also be taken into account with no immediately available hot water! In the evening it gets cold quickly at 1500 m, you have to heat up more often and in winter also get up once or twice and add wood so that it does not get too cold. Campfires are not allowed, so use the existing grills.
