Bright, sunny, studio, in the heart of town, walking distance to shops, restaurants.. Includes ski locker at Canyon Lodge, so you don't have to schlep your gear back and forth each day. If you need more space or availability, we have the condo directly across the hall and a 1 bdrm in the same complex.

The space
This 500 square foot studio condo is a modern remodel. The comfortable queen bed with fresh laundered Marriott bedding sits next to the fireplace for ambient evenings after a day spent outdoors in the mountains. This condo has a fully equipped kitchen, with everything you need for cooking and serving meals during your stay. It is tastefully equipped with Crate&Barrel dish ware, all utensils, pots, pans and bakeware that you would need for cooking and baking, including a crock pot, blender, panini maker, and toaster. We have a tea kettle and two types of coffee makers, (Kuerig pod style and regular drip coffee maker) and a coffee bean grinder.

In addition to the queen bed there are also two full bunk beds, a remodeled bathroom, outside balcony, stylish decor, 50" smart TV with Amazon Prime, HBO Max, Hulu and Peacock. We no longer have cable. The Netflix app is available for you to log in with your own account.

There is great lighting, local art on the walls, a romantic fireplace, a ceiling fan above the queen bed, and a HEPA Air Purifier.

Bunk beds are private from main sleeping area. Light and airy with two sliding glass doors that open from main living area to outside balcony with patio chairs during summer.

We have a Ring doorbell style security camera in the public hallway that monitors entry and exit of condo.

Shorten Your Schlep - includes a ski locker at Canyon Lodge so you don’t have to schlep your ski/snowboard gear back and forth. It is nice to hit the locker throughout the day for extra layers and food.. since we offer a locker we prefer that skis and boards are kept out of the condo. This complex is directly on the Green shuttle line to Eagle Ski Lodge, and one block away is the Red line to Main Lodge or to the Village, and jump on the Village Gondola up to Canyon Lodge.

Ski Locker at Canyon Lodge, to keep your skis, snowboards, boots, ski clothing, and food in for the duration of your stay.

Other things to note
1. 16% TOT (transient occupancy tax) is included in nightly fee.
2. NO PETS - $300 fee If a pet has been discovered by our onsite manager, cleaning crew, or neighbor. The entire security deposit will be forfeited in order to return the space back into a low-allergen environment. We promise our guests a clean, pet-free, low allergen environment.
3. If condo is left in an exceptionally messy state, we will charge $40 for every extra hour of cleaning required. Please leave the condo in the condition you found it and follow check out rules.
4. If more guests sleep in this condo then the number originally stated in the booking, the $300 security deposit will be charged in full.
5. If guest delays our manager from beginning their follow up inspection at 10:15 am, they will be charged $50.
7. Smoking is prohibited in Mountain Shadows Condominium Complex.

Neighborhood highlights

This studio condo is located in popular Mountain Shadows Condominiums Complex which is close to bike trails, running trails, child play park and fishing stream. Mammoth Lakes is a great town with so much to offer to people who like to spend time in the mountains. Winter has the ski resort, but summer here is amazing. Mammoth has many events in town on weekends, with and the beautiful lakes basin for fishing, canoeing, hiking, climbing... There is also golf, tennis, the mountain bike park and my personal favorite, incredible road cycling as well. During the fall, photography is the sport of choice, the colors are spectacular.

My husband and I enjoy the San Clemente lifestyle and have raised our children there, yet are also drawn to the Eastern Sierra, for great year round outdoor activities. My husband being a skier and I a snowboarder, we bought A4 thirty years ago when our first child was born. As the kids grew, we bought the 2nd, across the hall, and then the 3rd larger one. They've been great for family getaways, hope they'll do the same for you.
