Purchased on a whim in 1994, our special slice of French countryside life has become a labour of love and we adore sharing our little piece of France with guests from around the world. Located in the heart of the Charente region, it is the perfect base to explore the beautiful surrounding areas or simply wind down in the quiet village of Mouton.

The space
Tucked inside the tranquil village of Mouton, the two storey cottage and rustic barn offer a secluded place to unwind. Comfortably sleeping up to 5 adults, or a family group this house has one master room (double bed) and one family bedroom (double and single beds). There is a cosy living room with a large fireplace, and an authentic French kitchen with a wood burner. The bathroom offers a bath with shower and there is a separate toilet. A cot, high chair and safety gates are available for infants upon request.

Guest access
You have access to the entire home. The barn is not renovated and can only be used for storage. We have parked the cars in the barn in the past when there has been a passing storm.
