Neighborhood highlights

Pila . Quiet mountain village la Frazione Moline is located near the famous Côte de Gargantua Natural Reserve, known to contain the spur of the elongated shape, the "little finger of the giant" (as the legend narrates) . The spur was born from deposits of glacial origin, stimulated the popular imagination and generated the legend to which the name of this very particular area is due: the Côte would be the little finger of the giant Gargantua, a character invented by Rabelais, buried by a blanket of debris. An ancient history that accompanies another: the unique and varied one of the many animal and plant species that live in this typical example of a steppic environment. One of the most representative of the Florist world: the Artemisia vallesiaca, a rare aromatic plant and the imperati Telephium, a species of Mediterranean origin. An ideal environment for small rodents, birds of prey, passerby, reptiles, and invertebrates. This landscape is much loved by explorers who can meet the Lucertola Muraiola, Ramarro, Biacco and many species of Lepidotteri and Coleotteri. The hamlet is full of water and you will find different fountains along the various streets. Beautiful vineyards and apple trees surround this place unchanged over the years.
