Welcome to "The Name of the Rose". This house at the gates of the Marais Poitevin, located in a small village will offer you the charm and tranquility of the countryside.
The space
The house consists of three levels. The living room and the equipped kitchen overlooking the patio are on the ground floor as well as a bathroom with toilet and the laundry room. On the first floor are the three spacious bedrooms, the bathroom, the relaxation area, the sports area (in case of tension with the other guests you can let off steam on the punch bag!) and the library area (if you prefer to get away mentally!). You will find a shower room on the second floor. All on a total surface area of approximately 140 m². A small, open garden in front of the house is at your disposal, as well as the parking space that can accommodate up to 3 cars.

Other things to note
The commune of Saint Pompain is halfway between Fontenay-Le-Comte and Niort (20 minutes).
It has a bakery and a bar-tobacconist-restaurant (La Prunelle), a post office and an educational farm (Ferme de la Mantellerie).
You can buy meat directly from the Alleuds farm (2 km).
Boul' et mich' offers naturally leavened bread, wood-fired cooking, brioches and pizzas. Three batches per week: Monday with delivery, Wednesday at the bakery and Friday at the farm and at the bakery (Rue de la Mantellerie)
2.2 km away: you can shop and pick seasonal fruit and vegetables at the Vergers de Vendée (Inzais, 85240 Saint Hilaire des Loges)
9.2 km away (10 minutes by car) you can shop for fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy, etc... at the farm lockers, 12 Rue de la Gare in Rives d'Autise (85420).
A tennis court and a sports complex are freely accessible near the football stadium.
