We have the BEST view, sunrise and sunset! Our pool is
conveniently level out from the living room, making it a fun central cooling-off space. This is a house that feels like a home. We love that everybody has plenty of space and that the communal areas feel warm and encourage connection. We provide plenty of towels in the bathrooms as well as for the pool or beach. Beach chairs, boogie boards, small cooler are all available.

Our home is cool, spacious, and open to the ocean and incredible for bird lovers! It’s perfect for just about any size group from 2 to 10. Drive up a 4x4 road for about 7 minutes and arrive at the secluded and expansive property overlooking the quaint beach town of Matapalo. Covered parking to keep your car cool and dry. Warm entrance to open concept living room, kitchen, and dining room. Additional full bath in living area. Entire first floor, including the master suite, opens up to the large pool area and outdoor showers. Upstairs you will find 3 large bedrooms and a large bathroom. Incredible views from every shower and bedroom. Quality mattresses and bedding. Cotton sheets. Most people like to cook outside on the Blackstone Cooktop, or make use of the Well-equipped kitchen including a VitaMix, CrockPot, Air Fryer, Rice Cooker, large pancake griddle, coffee maker and spices for cooking. Filtered Mountain Spring Water from the tap and fridge with ice maker. Washer/dryer. All exclusive and private.
Giant and deep pool with sweeping views. This house is great for kids who know how to swim. It is not recommended for non-swimmers or super young children because the living area and pool area are all connected.
Ceiling fans throughout the house keep it cool as well as window shades and screens on all the windows and doors. A/C in Master Bedroom and large upstairs bedroom. Rooms without A/C have a refreshing cross breeze from the mountains/ocean.

Guests have private and exclusive use of the house, surrounding gardens and outdoor shower as well as the pool.

Other things to note
There are two rooms with air conditioners; although usually the ocean and mountain breezes keep everything cool and delightful. The house does not have central climate control features and is best for those who like a more natural climate. We LOVE having everything open and feeling the natural coastal mountain air, hearing the powerful rains, or the gentle ones. There are plenty of ceiling fans in every room and on the patio as well.

There are mosquito screens on every window and door!

Savegre, Provincia de Puntarenas, Costa Rica

From Manuel Antonio to Uvita, you will find an abundance of beautiful beaches and fun adventures to be had. Our location is perfect for exploring all of this area or staying "away from it all". We are in a small, gated community that has a few permanent families and a few rental houses, but mostly just wildlife (think Jurassic Park). You can hear waves crash on the beach that is just 1.5 miles from the house and see stars twinkle in the tropical skies.

In addition, there are many great restaurants nearby. The Matapalo Supper Club is by far the best restaurant we have ever been to in Costa Rica. And it’s just down the hill and at the beach (about 10 min away). The larger town of Dominical is just 10 min down the highway from the house. The small city of Quepos is only 20 min and here you will find Manuel Antonio National Park. There is also a domestic airport in Quepos (Sansa and Green Airways are the airlines) and car rentals. We highly recommended this as the quickest way to get down to the house from San Jose.
