We are Lonny and Lily, who found our sanctuary in Mindo's majestic mountains. We built Long Lodge with our own hands, crafting a home.
Here, luxury isn't about extravagance, but about the peace you'll find surrounded by the cloudforest.

At LONG Lodge, we use only solid wood furniture — no MDF, no plywood, no particle board.
Natural materials, no chemical adhesives, just the warmth and honesty of real wood.

Our courtyard features a heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi, surrounded by a beautiful garden — the perfect spot to relax and unwind.

The living room is equipped with a 75" Sony 4K TV, and a Bose speaker system—perfect for movie nights, music, or game time.

At our tea table, you’ll find exquisite Chinese tea ceremony porcelain and a curated selection of fine teas, complimentary for our guests. Savor authentic flavors from China as hummingbirds dance around you — a scene straight out of nature’s poetry. In the living room, a library of over one hundred books awaits, inviting you to browse, reflect, or simply lose yourself in a moment of quiet inspiration.

Our kitchen is equipped with an 800L extra-large refrigerator (with ice maker and crusher), Samsung washer, Samsung dryer, LG microwave, manual professional Italian coffee machine, automatic daily-use coffee machine, coffee grinder, rice cooker, toaster, GE oven, GE dishwasher, GE stove with range hood, indoor grill, and outdoor barbecue. A wide selection of seasonings is also provided. In addition, a dedicated housekeeper takes care of cleaning throughout the day as well as pool and Jacuzzi maintenance. All you really need to bring are your favorite foods and any special spices—you’ll find we’ve thought of nearly everything.

LONG Lodge is nestled on the mountainside of Mindo’s lush cloud forest in Ecuador, right at the heart of one of the region’s premier birdwatching areas. Surrounded by pristine nature and fresh mountain air, guests are just within a two-kilometer radius of spectacular waterfalls, thrilling canopy cycling adventures, and scenic birdwatching trails. Staying at LONG Lodge offers an immersive experience in the enchanting world of misty forests and vibrant wildlife—a perfect retreat for nature lovers and adventurers alike.

We are 2 km to the center of Mindo town, our location is between Mindo town and the waterfalls and zip line tours.
