*No Cleaning Fee* Log Cabin On The Rocks is a log cabin retreat built over a dome house rock with an amazing overlook to view the scenic rock and seasonal water features on over 40 acres. Take the stairs down from the wrap around porch to the overlook to see a breathtaking natural scene then take just a few more stairs down to the dome rock house to the left which leads to a small trail to see the gorge. More trails behind the owner's cabin lead to even more natural rock and water features.
The space
Log Cabin On The Rocks is a log cabin built on a dome house rock. You can go down the stairs from the porch to the overlook. After checking out the amazing wooded view, you can take a few more stairs down to see the dome house rock below the house. Trails around the property also lead to discovery.
Guest access
Guests are assured privacy inside the log cabin as well as behind the log cabin. Maximum occupancy is 8 people in the cabin. The guests are permitted and encouraged to explore the property, but this space is shared with the owner who will try to give guests their space and privacy. We do have a steep driveway, but a second driveway that isn’t steep runs behind the owner’s cabin. We encourage guests to enter using the main driveway while exiting using the driveway behind the owner’s cabin.
Other things to note
Guests are encouraged to explore. Ask the owner for directions, check out the website, or bring your sense of adventure. Seasonal waterfalls, creeks, and super cool rock features are a short hike away. John Smith Trailhead of Big South Fork NRRA is 0.5 miles from the front gate. All wildlife present in the Big South Fork NRRA are possible visitors to the property.

Where I went to school: Northwestern State University Louisiana
Cajun from Deep South Louisiana who fell in love with East Tennessee with an unfortunate detour in Memphis. The sight of snow still seems miraculous. I love the sight of wildlife and the songs of birds.
