This grade 2 listed former lock keepers cottage offers a cosy 3 bedroom retreat. The perfect place to escape, relax, unwind. It is the ideal getaway for walkers, cyclists, dog and outdoor lovers.

Whether you are looking for a romantic hideaway, a friends weekend retreat or a family friendly break, we place the personal touch at the heart of your reason to stay.

The space
Every care has been taken to protect and restore the character of the cottage throughout the renovation process, keeping stunning original features throughout, yet adding in modern comforts such as underfloor heating, Wi-fi, Smart TV, log burners. We have lovingly decorated the cottage in a farmhouse lux style choosing beautiful farrow & ball shades to compliment our home furnishings.

The cottage has 3 bedrooms which sleep 5 adults comfortably. A travel cot is available for extra little people.

It is perfectly positioned being just a ten-minute walk to Berriew where there is a local store and delicatessen, butchers, gift shop, tearooms and two pubs with restaurants.

Lock House cottage is hosted by Emma and Andrew, a traditional Lock keepers cottage based on the canal tow path on Andrews family farm. The cottage has been renovated by us and we live close by, you may spot us and our 3 free range kids on the farm
