Yurt 1 offers a king-size bed, plush designer seating, full bathroom, kitchenette, dining table, wood-burning fireplace, furnished deck, personal telescope and much more.
While yurts are sometimes referred to as tents, The Local Chapter Big Bend yurts are custom built as permanent homes, sealed from the elements and engineered to withstand extreme winds and rain. Yurt 1 has electricity, running water, and all the conveniences you would expect from first class lodging. Yurt 1 has a larger deck space than the other yurts. Yurt 1.5 is located on the same deck but is an unoccupied, closed space to guests. All yurts are spaced out across a high mesa, for privacy and views.
