The Historic Double L Bar Lodge lies within the beautiful Absaroka Mountains of Northwest Wyoming. It is located approximately 30 miles southwest of Cody, Wyoming, and 90 minutes from the East Entrance of Yellowstone. Guests enjoy this area for its abundant trails, hiking, fishing, hunting, biking, camping, stargazing, and photography. Home to grizzly bears, bighorn sheep, elk, deer, pronghorn antelope, mountain lions, coyotes, wolves, birds of prey and abundant wildflowers.

The space
This spacious historic lodge can accommodate up to six people. It has three-bedroom suites with queen beds. All linens, towels, and toiletries are provided. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. Dining can be on the spacious front porch, back patio area, or dining room. The back patio is equipped with one propane and one charcoal barbeque, tables, and chairs. A fireplace is located in the living room with comfortable couches, chairs, and rocking chairs. The lodge has two bathrooms, one with a bath/shower combo and the other with a clawfoot tub for a delightful spa experience.

Guest access
The hosts will meet all guests at the river bridge and escort them to the lodge property. The access to the lodge can accommodate automobiles but SUV's and four wheel drive are recommended.

Other things to note
This secluded property is backed up to National Forest Lands. and Bureau of Land Management lands. A 3-mile hike out the backdoor will put you in the Washakie Wilderness. Check-in: 4 PM, Check-Out: 11 AM. We are 90 minutes from the East Entrance to Yellowstone National Park via Cody, Wyoming. *** Please Note! After June 26th 2025, there will be a $60 fee for each loaf of firewood delivered by us and used at the Lodge*** >>>> This is A LOT of firewood, is cheaper, and worth more than you can buy at a local gas station.
