Built in 1869, this centrally-located beautiful historic home, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, invites you to explore Lake Champlain Waterfront Park, Church St. Marketplace, Pine St. Farmer's Market, the art district, local cafes/breweries, and nearby UVM. Unwind by the wood-burning fireplace or on the side porch. Little Maple House combines historic elegance with modern comfort for an unforgettable stay.

The space
Little Maple House offers 4 bedrooms, a TV room/Office, a dressing room, and 3 1/2 baths, a side porch and a Sun Room, accommodating up to ten people, most comfortably for eight adults.

The ground floor has a central hall colonial layout with the living, dining, kitchen spaces connected, a separate TV room/Office and a powder room. The living room features a wood-burning fireplace and a baby grand piano.

2nd floor, there are three bedrooms and two well-appointed bathrooms. Bedroom 1 Suite comes with its own bathroom featuring a Toto Washlet toilet. On the other side of the bathroom, there is the Dressing Room that opens to the Sun Room. The Dressing Room has a full/twin size futon for an additional sleeper.

WiFi is available throughout.

Pets:
We welcome dogs with prior approval and a $150 pet fee per stay. Pets must be disclosed in advance as part of the reservation.

Failure to disclose a pet before arrival may result in additional charges, a formal complaint through Airbnb, or cancellation of the reservation without refund, subject to Airbnb’s policies.

Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage or excessive cleaning. Unauthorized pets will be reported to Airbnb.

Welcome from Tshen and William! We moved to Burlington in 2016 after spending years as architects in big cities. Burlington drew us in with its natural beauty and rich history. In 2018, we became the proud owners of the Little Maple House. Originally built in 1869, LMH required serious renovations. We dedicated years (and still continuously) to restore and renovate it from the inside out. Now, we are so excited to share LMH with you.
