Welcome to Little Bear! We'd love to provide you with a comfortable stay and clear views so you can enjoy the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains!
At Little Bear you will enjoy views down the Blue Ridge Mountain and into the valley. Private street, directly off the hiking trails, and close to the mountain loop, tubing park and Devil Knob Golf course, this is a perfect place for all that Wintergreen has to offer.

The space
Our unique modern house offers floor to ceiling A-frame in the livingroom, a kitchen filled with everything you need, one indoor gas fire place and one firepit on our lower deck, reading material and games for everyone and plenty of space for you and your guests. We are proud to have designed a rental that will leave you happy you took a vacation to unwind and get away from it all. We have three dogs of our own so pets are always welcome for an additional fee. If you plan on bringing your pet, please let us know and we will adjust the price.

Neighborhood highlights

Our house is a 3-5 minute drive to the top of the mountain loop. A hiking trail is located few hundred yards away from our driveway. The Wintergreen market and gas station are a few minutes up the mountain. It's a short five minute drive to the parking area at Reid's Gap, the start of the popular 13.4 mile Three Ridges hiking trail. Despite being close to everything we offer peace and privacy.
