We love that it's countryside but super handy if you want to pop into town for something. All newly refurbished in a modern simple clean style, we know you are going to enjoy your stay here. This studio can sleep up to 4. Very handy to Waitomo, Te Kuiti and Otorohanga to make it an excellent base for exploring the region. Waitomo Caves is only 10 minutes away so it's an easy start for the first tour of the day, or not far to get home after the last tour of the day. Only an hour to Hobbiton.

The space
This studio is somewhere we've really enjoyed putting together for accommodation. It's got views on 3 sides and a fabulous deck. The privacy wall for the main bed give it a sense of being a separate bedroom and great if one wants to stay up and watch TV or work at the table while the other wants to sleep.

The kitchenette has dishwasher, microwave, small fridge and bench top hop with all the pots and pans and utensils you may need to do some light cooking during your stay if you prefer to self cater.

A washing machine and tub is located in the large bathroom with a clothes line outside, or an airing rack inside.

There is plenty of off road secure parking.

If you are travelling with a trailer, or multiple vehicles there's no problem.

The adjacent paddocks are available for grazing if you have horses with you for local events. Just let us know you are interested in this.

Other things to note
The studio is adjoining the house if you require additional space - see our other listing. It is not accessible to each other internally - completely separate entrance. The studio is at the end of the deck with expansive views of the land and river..

I'm a born and bred local Kiwi girl who has loved travelling the world during my life. Favourite trips have been Myanmar, Baltics, Norway, USA and China and Europe. Haven't really been anywhere I didn't enjoy - some are just a little more challenging but that's the whole point right ;-) I've been hosting for a couple of years and love being able to offer people a great place to stay with everything they need when they are away from home. When I'm travelling I especially enjoy having a space instead of a poky hotel room, and to be able to self cater after getting local food to try.
