Neighborhood highlights

Most of our guests love to sit on the deck behind the pond shed and feed the catfish, fish in the pond, or just sit and take in a bit of nature and all the sounds, especially night when the critters around the pond come alive. In the winter, spring, and cooler nights in the summer, guests will likely hear the chatty owls in the woods adjacent to the cabin. In the fall, it's common to hear the bugle of an elk at Granny Creek Elk Farm down the road. Message Matt at the farm if you would like a tour. There are baby elk at their farm around June/July.
For hunters, there is nearby public land and there are also several nearby outfitters. Let us know if you would like more information. Other attractions nearby are horse trail rides, air-conditioned horse drawn wagon rides, and mini golf all offered by appointment only at the Wildfire Ranch a couple miles down the road.

My work: Nurse
Speaks English
I am a wife, mother, and nurse. I love God, the simple life, being outside and experiencing the sights and sounds of the outdoors. It has been my dream to own and operate an airbnb since we first stayed in one several years ago. I hope all of our guests have positive experiences at our airbnb, like all our past stays have been.
