Beautiful area
This home is in a scenic location.
Soak in the peace and quiet of this charming seaside cottage nestled in Trinity East. Enjoy the ocean views through wall-to-wall windows in our open concept living area. Head upstairs to the clawfoot tub with a view of the iconic Fort Point lighthouse. Take an evening stroll on the beach at the bottom of our property or lounge on the deck and hot tub. Just a short stroll from the Bright Side Bistro and Skerwink Trail. At the end of the day, sink into a luxurious bed in one of our four bedrooms.
The space
*****July 2026 marks the start of our soft opening and although our property is functional and ready for use, there are still a couple of issues that we are working on:
- There are two pull-down blinds in the living room that are not functioning properly. The two on the left do not retract as they should once pulled down; but are currently up so won’t obstruct the view in the current position.
- We do not have a lawn yet; landscaping will take place in the fall of 2026.

All our furniture, fixtures and décor have been intentionally curated to create a place of beauty, peace and comfort. The sweeping views from our many windows are made cozy by the textures of fabric, warm wood tones, working fireplace and thoughtful lighting. The traditional stained glass, Victorian wallpaper, crystal door knobs, and patterned tiles take you back to an earlier time, with unique features to discover in every room. The four spacious bedrooms each have an ocean view, providing lots of room for the whole family. Please note, this is a 3-story home, with a full flight of stairs between each level.
The first (main) floor open concept living, dining and kitchen area sparkles with light through the many large windows. The fireplace surrounded by 100-year-old brick from the original home and 55” anti-glare smart TV will be waiting when you are ready to sink into one of the comfy chairs or sofa.
The second floor has three bedrooms and a full bathroom with a cast iron claw foot tub and corner shower.
The third (attic) floor consists of an attic bedroom/sitting area featuring vaulted ceilings with exposed Douglas Fir collar ties, ensuite bathroom with tiled shower and heated floor, and two cozy window seats in the front dormers where you can curl up with a book or gaze out at the panoramic views.
Outside, there is an American Whirlpool 471 therapeutic hot tub with massaging jets tucked into a large wrap around deck with barbecue and Adirondack chairs for all your lounging needs. Great for whale watching with your morning coffee!

The location
Nestled in the quiet community of Trinity East, you can see local fishers returning with their morning catch. The cottage is on the water in a small cove where the ferry used to run from Trinity East to Trinity. At night, the warm lights of Trinity drift across the water as the gentle waves in this sheltered harbour lap on the shore.
There are also many opportunities for adventure nearby. Trinity has whale watching tours, theatre performances (Rising Tide Theatre), shopping (Dock Marina), fine dining (The Twine Loft), and walking tours in this picturesque town. Port Rexton has a unique craft brewery with artisan grilled cheese truck, delicious treats and coffee at the Two Whales cafe, fine dining and art at The Fishers Loft as well as an array of beaches for strolling along. A half-hour drive to Elliston is worthwhile for world-class puffin watching and a sandy beach. Of course, there is also plenty of shopping, touring and dining in Bonavista (we recommend the Quntial Café).

This summer (2026) is our soft opening. Lawn, fire pit and landscaping to follow in the Fall. Also, our fridge is not working so we have a mini fridge and small convertible chest freezer (can act as a fridge or freezer) while we are waiting for the replacement to be delivered. Sorry for the inconvenience. Our current prices reflect these issues.
