The lightkeeper's refuge is a charming 3 bedroom cottage with grand balconies and views of Lake Erie. Located across the street from the historic Barcelona lighthouse, the public boat slip and public beach. Want privacy? Enjoy luscious gardens and a view of the grape vines in the backyard.

The area is known for its wine and breweries, outdoor activities for every season (even winter), a quaint town with many small restaurants and stores including amazing antique shops and local market!

The space
The space is fresh and decorated with local artwork and all the details that make it feel like a lakehouse! Relax in the living room with the fireplace while looking out to the lake. There are multiple seating areas with smart TVs (no cable), a game room with backyard deck access, a kitchen with bar seating and a beautiful dining room with views of the lake and grapes! Balconies can be accessed at both levels with a swing on the upper balcony.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the home except for a owner storage area in the basement and the garage. Plenty of parking is included and a horseshoe driveway to make boat parking easy.

Other things to note
Do you have an electric vehicle? There is a public charging station available in a lot not too far from the house!

Neighborhood highlights

The beach and boat slip along with the views of the lake and lighthouse make this a truly unique property. The yard creates a great escape but keep in mind, the historic lighthouse draws a lot of attention and therefore you'll see people parking along the street near the house to get a view. The neighborhood has a small town feel, but shops and places all around town love meeting our guests.
