A longtime guest favorite, this beautifully updated 1923 Craftsman combines historic character with modern comforts in one of Bend’s most walkable neighborhoods. Stroll to Newport Avenue, Galveston Avenue, Drake Park, downtown Bend, and some of the city’s best restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops, then return home to relax by the fireplace or unwind in the hot tub.
The space
Inside you’ll find a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living spaces with a cozy gas fireplace, three inviting bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and plenty of natural light throughout. After a day exploring Bend or skiing at Mt. Bachelor, unwind in the private backyard with outdoor dining, a BBQ grill, and a relaxing hot tub.
Whether you’re here to hike, bike, ski, float the river, or simply experience Bend’s vibrant westside, this home is the perfect place to relax and make yourself at home.
🛏️ Sleeping Arrangements

• Bedroom 2 – Queen bed
• Bedroom 3 – Two twin beds
Each bedroom includes blackout curtains, a dresser, and a walk-in closet for a comfortable and restful stay.
🛋️ Living Spaces
The bright, open main floor features beautiful hardwood and slate floors, large windows that fill the home with natural light, and a cozy gas fireplace for relaxing evenings. The fully equipped kitchen opens to the dining and living areas, making it easy to gather together.
The dining table seats six, with additional seating for three at the kitchen bar.
🔥Heating & 🧊Cooling
The home is equipped with ductless heating and air conditioning, with one unit upstairs in the primary bedroom and one downstairs in the main living area. The additional upstairs bedrooms include seasonal window A/C units during the summer and space heaters during the winter.
As a historic home, it may take a little longer to cool or warm during periods of extreme weather, but these conditions are uncommon.

Enjoy both front and back outdoor spaces during your stay.
The front yard offers a welcoming deck and lawn, perfect for morning coffee, or reading.
The private backyard features:

• Outdoor dining area
• BBQ grill
The homeowners occasionally stay in a separate ADU (apartment) above the detached garage during personal visits. The ADU has its own private entrance, and they respect guests’ privacy. If they happen to be in town during your stay and you’d prefer exclusive use of the hot tub, simply let us know—we’re happy to reserve it just for you.
Guest access
Guests have private access to the entire home and outdoor living spaces. The only area not included is the separate ADU above the detached garage, which the non-local homeowners occasionally use during personal visits. The ADU has its own private entrance, and guest privacy is always respected. If they happen to be in town during your stay and you’d prefer exclusive use of the hot tub, simply let us know—we’re happy to reserve it just for you.
Other things to note
• This is a beautifully restored 1923 Craftsman home full of historic charm and character. Because of its age, it isn’t as energy efficient as newer homes. During periods of extreme heat or cold, it may take a little longer to reach your desired temperature.
• All bedrooms are upstairs and include blackout curtains for added sleeping comfort.
• Walk to Newport Avenue, Galveston Avenue, Drake Park, downtown Bend, restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, and local parks.
• Mt. Bachelor is approximately a 30-minute drive.
• Absolutely no pets are allowed. Unauthorized pets are subject to additional cleaning fees.
• The homeowners occasionally stay in the separate ADU above the detached garage during personal visits. They have a private entrance and do not access the home during guest stays. If they’re in town during your visit and you’d like exclusive use of the hot tub, simply let us know and we’ll reserve it for your stay.
