The space
We are listed and rated by Gîtes de France *** as a 3-star guesthouse.
Our accommodation is an independent guesthouse concept that doesn't fit into any box, which has been a favorite with our guests since May 2022. It's self-contained, and you'll enjoy complete privacy.
IMPORTANT: Please read the description and house rules carefully, and look at the photos. Everything is very detailed, and above all, don't hesitate to contact us with any questions, which we will be happy to answer quickly.
In these 22m², you'll also find a very important feature: the bedding, which is recent, hotel-quality from a specialized bedding store (made in France), with firm mattresses (35kg/m³) and a balanced feel, for both the 160x200cm queen-size bed and the 140x200cm double sofa bed.
The only spaces shared with us are the parking lot and the garden.
In nice weather, you can enjoy private outdoor furniture, and evenings take on the feel of a guinguette.
Your bathroom and toilet are inside the suite, making it feel like a small apartment. The shower is large, and the entrance is 60 cm wide.
The ceiling height is 2.25 m throughout the suite, which is on one level (no steps or stairs inside).
REMINDER:
- We are not a guesthouse, so there is no cooking area or sink. If neeeded, you can wash your dishes in the sink or outside if you prefer, in nice weather, with two dedicated bowls, and all the necessary cleaning products and equipment are provided.
You can heat up or keep your cooked meals, snacks, salads, etc., or keep them cool, as we have added plates, cutlery, and glasses in addition to the small appliances. This is the nice little extra at Tigîte B&B, at no extra cost and maintaining attractive rates for a B&B with all these additional services.
We offer an optional meal service with a cold buffet platter (in nice weather) or a hot meal tray (in colder months), as well as a brunch option (savory and more indulgent) in addition to the already included breakfast. Request it when booking (see photos).
Are you a private duo, trio or quattro on a getaway, or a business duo traveling, sleeping separately? No problem, you can use the sofa bed as a second bed, upon request. (Contact us when booking and we will provide you with all the extra linens you need, free of charge. This second bed must be opened, set up, and folded up by you every morning and evening.)
Tigîte B&B is open year-round.
Please note: There is a cat on the property, and the grounds are fully fenced, with no gate at the courtyard entrance.
Guest access
The suite is entirely yours, and we do not accommodate other guests.
Access is via the side of the farmhouse after parking in our courtyard, where a space is reserved for you. With us, you follow the driveway, and the private entrance is at the back, on the private terrace.
As hosts, we live on-site (above and next door), and we welcome you and show you around.
We are always available at night.
A key box is provided in case you need to leave before 9 a.m., for example, for professionals starting their day very early.
You benefit from the peace and quiet and the natural surroundings of our guesthouse; we are happy to share our grounds with our guests.
Other things to note
We accept stays with 4 occupants (all ages and a maximum of 3 adults), but subject to the careful reading of the house rules, our complete and detailed description, and the careful reading of the photos.
Our suite was designed for two, but the sofa bed provides a very comfortable bed with the same comfort as the bedroom. Our bedding is French-made, firm, with a density of 35 kg per m3 and a multi-slatted base.
CONDITION: We accept one adult or two children on this sofa bed.
The suite is 22m² (235 sq ft) and is well-equipped with everything you need for four people. However, this is a family guest room and not a gîte.
The sofa bed must be opened and made up by you (bed linen and towels provided at no extra charge).
