Neighborhood highlights

The village is ideally located because on its ban there is a road and highway junction placing Cernay at 9 km, Thann at 13 km, Masevaux and Altkirch at 14 km, Mulhouse at 16 km.

3 km from the Pont d'Aspach industrial area, the village is very close to the A36 motorway connecting Strasbourg-Bale-Fribourg-Colmar-Sélestat-Mulhouse-Belfort-Lyon.

Also close to the Doller and the Sundgau gate, but also the Wine Route, the town is very central.

Some shops are located in this village, the most important for our guests: a good bakery and a tobacco store a 2-min walk away (!)- The Vogelparadies farm (2 min drive) has a very nice grocery store and also offers pick-your-own.

The neighboring town (Burnhaupt-le-Haut) is home to other resources: hypermarkets (classic and organic), caterers, butchers, hairdressers, medical professions, pharmacy...
Regarding restaurants: note the restaurants La Couronne, Les Coquelicots which are very good restaurants. You can also eat at the Cabanon, or at the Entre Potes pizzeria. For other restaurants not yet tested on our side, we'd love to hear your feedback!

Small non-exhaustive listing of sites and activities:

Skiers can ski at the Grand Ballon (30-minute drive)
The historic bunker trail from Burnhaupt-le-Bas for walkers
Lake Alfeld for swimming 20 km away or Lake Reiningue (8 km away)
Tree climbing at the Acropark in Burnhaupt-le-Haut (at the campsite)
Large laser game center, Karting, Wave and Movin Park (Trampoline) in Cernay
Large modern cinema in Cernay as well as a shopping mall, a classic + organic hypermarket, restaurants
Thur Doller Train (steam train) and Vélorail in Aspach (5 km)
Nature reserve around Lake Michelbach (10 km)
The museums of Mulhouse (train city, automobile museum, textile printing museum, Ecomusée d'Alsace...)
The Doller Valley (Masevaux etc…), the Thur Valley
The typical villages of Sundgau, a very picturesque region of Alsace
Magical Christmas markets in Alsace (and in Franche-Comté such as Montbéliard)

Overall, you will also have the beautiful Vosges nearby (for skiing, snowshoeing) and the Alsace Wine Route, Thann being the first of the towns on this route and constituting in itself a beautiful discovery.

And for cyclists: Ballon d'Alsace (24 km), Planche des Belles Filles (53 km)

And many other tourist sites to discover: see the brochures in the cottage.

For me, the quality of accommodations matters, but also the welcome we receive. Mutual respect, too! If these standards and values are important to you, then you will be in the right place in our place. My passion is sweet haulas, health tips, good food, in short if you are rather sensitive to these themes, so I am curious and interested in new info or an exchange. See you soon at home!
