Slow down and fully unwind in our stylishly decorated holiday home. The house is located on a quiet dead-end street, where the only traffic you may see is the occasional farmer on his tractor. From the front garden, you can enjoy a beautiful view over the valley.
The space
We are happy to welcome you to our fully renovated holiday home, located in the heart of the beautiful Auvergne. This semi-detached house offers complete privacy and is equipped with all modern comforts. Here you will find peace, space, and comfort. Enjoy the stunning sunset views, relax with a book in the garden, or go for endless walks straight from the house. The house is suitable for 4 people and up to 2 dogs, and it has a cozy pellet stove. On the ground floor, there is a living/dining room with an open kitchen equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, kettle, and Senseo coffee machine (pads). The bathroom includes a double sink, rain shower, toilet, washing machine, and hairdryer. The fridge-freezer is located in the hallway leading to the back garden. The garden has a dining table with chairs, sun loungers, a parasol, and a barbecue. The garden is enclosed with a fence of about 85 cm high. Behind the garden, there is a private above-ground swimming pool of 5.5 meters, not heated, which we clean in the mornings. On the first floor, there are two double bedrooms with electric heating: one with a double bed (160x200 cm) and one with two single beds (80x200 cm) On the landing, there is a wardrobe, ironing board, and iron. In the nearby village of Cosne d’Allier (about 10 minutes), there are two supermarkets, a bakery, a butcher, and a bank. Several restaurants can also be found in the area. For everyone’s safety, there is a camera facing the road.

Bonjour! We started our French adventure in 2022 and moved to the charming village of Tortezais. My husband and I bought two houses and an old barn there, which we renovated with a lot of love. In March 2023, our cozy vacation home was completely ready.
