Nestled in the center of Penestanan, just off the main road, a small complex with 4 houses, operated by a Balinese family. This listing is for the newest house. Expect an authentic experience and an infinity pool overlooking the rice paddies. We would be pleased to tell you more about life and culture in Bali. Lots of great restaurants, shops and yoga places very close.

The space
The bungalow has a bedroom with queensized bed, ensuite bathroom and small living room with kitchen.

Note : This bungalow is NOT located in front of the pool and fice fields view, the pool was in common area.

Guest access
When booking the house, it is solely reserved for you and your travel companions. There is an infinity pool overlooking the rice paddies. The other guests that are staying with us are also allowed to use the pool. As most guests explore the surroundings and the center during the day, it is usually quiet at the pool.

Other things to note
The house is located on a family compound and we and our family will be around. We will, of course, respect your privacy and the house is located in the back.

We have one dog at the entrance, who are very nice.

As it is a tropical island and we are located next to rice paddies, there will be mosquitoes around. The beds have mosquito nets and we would advice to take mosquito repellent and spray as well.

Please be aware that the house cannot reached by car and that the last part has to be walked. Give us a call when you get out of the car at the main road and we will pick you up here and help you with your luggage.

The beauty of the rice paddies is something that costs a lot of labor. This comes with some noise as well when the farmers are working.

As it is in a Balinese neighbourhood, you will hear chickens, roosters, frogs and crickets.

Penestanan is a much sort after area filled with galleries, spas, restaurants, funky cafes and only 5 minute drive into town. You can casually walk into town past some amazing little shops and enjoy the scenery. Our complex is surrounded by rice paddies. It is a 5 minute walk to Alchemy Restaurant.
