Set in Coreglia Antelminelli one of the most beautiful villages in Italy according to “I Borghi piu belli d’Italia”. We offer accommodation at an old farm which has been gently renovated to preserve the old rustic style but with modern amenities such as air conditioning, internet and smart devices in each room.

You will have access to a garden with a relax-pool , deck chairs and an outdoor dining area and outdoor kitchen.

The space
Leon Morto is an old farm where the main building dates from 1718. The area is typically Tuscan with mountains and a beautiful village . For years we have renovated the rooms to keep the old original style, but we still make sure that there are modernity’s such as air conditioning etc. Around the farm there is a lot of open terraced land, with fruit and berries. If you are lucky, you might even catch a glimpse or hear the wildlife that lives around the farm. We have tried to keep as much of the old structure as possible.
Children are welcome, but it is important for parents to keep an eye on their children as the windows in the rooms are low and quite high up. The land is terraced, so small children must be kept under guard.

We offer a buffé breakfast that can be purchased separately.

Choose from bread, yoghurt, musli, ham, homemade jam, cheese, fresh fruit, honey (provided by our bees)...
We have coffe, tea, freshly squeesed juice, milk, and water to drink. Depending on the season fruit and vegetables comes from our own garden.

Our old farmhouse is situated close to the village Coreglia Antelminelli. It is known as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The village is in the province of Lucca in the northern part of Tuscany. We are located about 60 km from the sea and beaches at a height of around 500 meters , 21 km from Abetone , 34 km from the city of Lucca and 54 km from Pisa which has the nearest airport.

Leon Morto is perfectly located for day trips around the Garfagnana area where you can try a lot of outdoor activities such as rafting, trekking or visit famous spots as Ponte della Maddalena, Isola Santa , Grotta del vento among other fantastic places.

The village with restaurants, bars and some small grocery shops is just about 10 minutes’ walk up the hill.

We have free parking at Leon Morto.
On the ground floor there is a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. On the upper floor we have two double bedrooms, one single room and a bathroom with shower. There is a possibility to add an extra bed if you need.

Children are welcome, but it is important for parents to keep an eye on their children as the windows in the rooms are low and quite high up. The land is terraced, so small children must be kept under guard.

Other things to note
We and our two dogs live in a small house close to the main house we will also be working on the land taking care of our fruits and vegetables.

It's an old farm surrounded by nature, so if you are lucky you might see or hear some of the wild animals.
