The space
Hello and welcome to The Echo of the Waves 🌊☀️
** SITUATION **
We offer for rent our charming studio-style cottage (for up to 2 people) located in Barbâtre on the island of Noirmoutier in Vendee (85). It is located precisely 700 meters from Les Boucholeurs sandy beach, 200 meters from the forest, less than 4 kilometers from the center of Barbâtre, where you will find all the essential shops (bakery, U Express, gas station, restaurants, laundromat), and 4 kilometers from the famous Passage du Gois (ideal for shore fishing or simply for the visual experience).
** AMENITIES **
It consists of a fully equipped kitchen area (aluminum capsule coffee machine, kettle, toaster, blender, hand blender, convection oven, ceramic cooktop, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, etc.) where the main groceries (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, spices, sugar, flour, etc.) are provided, a living area (sofa, Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, board games) facing south with a bay window overlooking the private garden, and a sleeping area with a 140-cm double bed and storage for your clothes, also facing south and overlooking the garden.
There is also a large antique travertine bathroom with a 85x140 cm walk-in shower and hanging toilet (hair dryer, iron and ironing board available).
Outside, the private, enclosed garden (with a 1.25-meter-high rigid fence at its lowest point) covers an area of 170 m² and is south-facing. The garden has two tiled terraces:
- one of about 9 m2 facing south ideal for aperitifs or simply enjoying the sun,
- the other of about 15 m2 exposed East with a wooden table and two wooden benches dedicated more to taking meals.
A gas griddle is available for your barbecues, as well as a special windproof umbrella (magnetic ribs) and a set of Mölkky.
For your winter evenings, a raclette set is also available😉.
🐶 A garden hose to rinse your doggies after swimming is available.

The property has no private parking spaces. However, free parking spaces are available within a one-minute walk of the property. Although parking on the sidewalk in front of the house is permitted during the off-season, we recommend that our guests use these parking spaces.
Cleaning is not included and is not offered in addition to make our guests aware of respect for the premises. Therefore, you will be responsible for cleaning (vacuum cleaner, mop, special long-bristle vacuum cleaner brush, cleaning products, etc., are available on-site). Special attention will need to be paid by pet owners. Please repay the trust we place in you 🐶
Included at no extra charge in our rates: towel, bath mat, grocery and basic hygiene products, water and electricity (including heating). Doggies (up to 2 large sizes or 3 small ones) are also accepted at no extra charge 🐕🐶
The power grid does not allow electric vehicle charging.
Once there, you will be greeted by the Conciergerie Les clés du Gois to make your entrance and exit (flexible hours).
A damage and cleaning deposit will be required upon arrival.

Guests have a private entrance directly overlooking their private garden to access the accommodation.
Other things to note
Cleaning is not included and is not offered in addition to make our guests aware of respect for the premises. It will therefore be carried out by you (vacuum cleaner, mop, ect on site and available). Pet owners should take special care (a special pet hair vacuum brush is available to clean the fabric furniture if needed).
