The large, en-suite bedrooms on offer at Le Chemin are designed for comfort and positioned for privacy, and the spaces flow beautifully over two levels, creating a feeling of space and calm.
The stream that winds through the bottom of the garden and the abundant birdlife throughout the gardens is complimented by the regular view of wildlife grazing through the canopy of indigenous trees in the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve.
The space
The property boasts three comfortable double bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom and dedicated outdoor space. The largest of the rooms is "Casablanca", our Master Suite, located on the ground floor, featuring a king-size bed, glass stacking doors onto its own patio, and a full ensuite bathroom with shower and large bath fed from rainwater reservoirs.
"Marrakesh" the second bedroom on the ground floor, offers a king-size bed that can be made into two single beds by arrangement, with a private ensuite bathroom and stunning views of the Krantzkloof nature reserve from the shower. Sliding doors open onto the patio for an immersive outdoor experience.
"Fez", our downstairs bedroom next to the Koi pond on the lower floor features a Queen size bed and its own private outdoor sitting space. The ensuite bathroom boasts a Moroccan-styled shower and bath combo with a view of the Krantzkloof nature reserve.
Guest access
Le Chemin's fully appointed kitchen is stocked with everything you need to create your own culinary masterpieces, however, this is strictly for private use, and the use the space for events must be by prior arrangement.
Take a refreshing dip in our infinity pool on the patio, where you can stretch out with a cocktail in hand and enjoy the sunsets and relaxing views of the Krantzkloof nature reserve, or take a stroll through the gardens to the stream picnic area to enjoy the sights and sounds of African birdlife.
Our large outdoor space is the perfect spot for outdoor dining, socializing, or simply relaxing.
Other things to note
Our property features backup water and solar electricity supply, so you won't be dependent on grid availability to operate. While most of our capacity is covered, certain high-demand items such as washing machines and air conditioners may be temporarily unavailable when we are off-grid.
For long stays, the guesthouse is serviced weekly by an on-site housekeeper. Should you require additional cleaning during your stay, this can be arranged for an additional fee.
