Leatherback is an affordable luxury two bedroom guest house located in a quiet part of Long Bay with access to a shared 15m swimming pool, kids play area and just a short 5 minutes walk to the Long Bay beach. We focus on providing quality accommodation, a home from home feel and an opportunity to truly relax, while getting your adrenaline fix. The quiet neighborhood gives you an opportunity to connect back in with nature and the Grace Bay area is just a short 10 minute drive away.

The space
The guest house comes with two bedrooms upstairs - a king size (with king size bed) with large deck overlooking Long Bay beach and a twin bedroom (with two twin beds that can be pushed together if necessary), both en-suite shower rooms.

Downstairs there is an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with powder room and laundry room all opening out onto another large deck with it's own gas grill. There is a sofa bed in the lounge that can sleep up to two people.

Guest access
The guest house has shared use of the 15m lap pool - this includes the other guest house on the property as well as the main family house and the pool is located in front of the main house. There is also a kids play area that includes a play house, pull up bars, slack line and adult friendly trampoline.

Other things to note
The road to the property is along a dirt road so you may want to consider hiring a bigger car for your trip, though a smaller car can still make the journey.

Long Bay Hills is a very quiet neighborhood and the property is located along a dead end road, so there is minimal traffic. The closest beach access to Long Bay beach gets you to a very quiet end of the beach where you will often be the only person on the beach. It is possible to launch a kite or windsurfer from this beach or sit back, relax and enjoy the view. You can enjoy amazing morning and evening walks along the beach. The sandbanks surround this beach so the waves are never very big, making it perfect for kiting or kid friendly.

We moved to Turks & Caicos in 2014 with the vision of raising our young family close to the ocean and nature. In 2015 we took on a project of lovingly restoring an abandoned house and two guest houses to provide a tranquil space for holiday makers to retreat and recharge in the many different ways that Turks & Caicos has to offer. Marisa grew up in Zambia and is a massage therapist, yoga instructor & photographer with loads of great tips on how to design a wellness experience during your stay in the islands. Edward is an acupuncturist, musician and as a keen water man traveling to the island for over 40 years he comes with a vast knowledge of how to enjoy your time on the water.
