Le Patio Carreterie: Our hidden and lovely 120 sqm air conditioned townhouse is ideally located in the historical district of the city, inside the city's old walls.
Its large and secluded patio garden enhanced by a jacuzzi will be the key to your comfort and relaxation during those lovely sunny days or Provençal evenings.

The space
Our 19th century townhouse has just been renovated (first in 2017, and again in 2024), keeping its traditional features (a typical Provençal floor tiles -"tomettes"- staircase) but is supported by a contemporary decoration and quality furnishings.

It offers the following features:

* On the ground floor :

- A spacious living room with a comfortable sofa, a colored armchair, a flat screen television and a dining table for 6 people.

- A kitchen with beautiful visible ceiling beams which confer it a warm atmosphere. It has all the necessary to prepare good meals: microwave, oven, cooktop, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, blender and a Nespresso coffee machine.

- Toilets.

* On the 1st floor :

- A bright bedroom (bedroom 1) with a comfortable double bed and a large cupboard to store your clothes. You'll also have at your disposal a charming balcony overlooking the patio garden with a table and 2 chairs where we enjoy having our morning coffee, or reading books at night time.

- A huge bedroom with 2 single beds, 2 cupboards and a loft where you may rest in the company of a good book (bedroom 3).

- A bathroom with an Italian style shower, double sink, a hairdryer, a towel dryer, and toilets.

* On the 2nd floor :

- A nice master bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed, a cosy corner with 2 armchairs and a small table, as well as an open bathroom fitted with a shower and a sink. This bedroom is the most romantic one with its sky window (bedroom 2).

You'll be able to take advantage of the spacious patio garden (calm and secluded, facing southwards) where you will find a beautiful garden set, a jacuzzi usable both in summer and winter, a dining table for you to enjoy your meals during sunny days and deck chairs to rest under the Provencal sun.

Just renovated, the house has new beddings, air conditioner in every bedroom, a washer, a drying rack, ironing equipment (iron and table), a baby chair a baby bath and a baby cot for those of you who travel with young children.

Of course, you'll have access to the wifi, including in the patio garden !

Lives in Avignon, France
Dear Future Guests, Provençal by origin I lived for 17 years in Asia with my family, discovering and apprehending this fascinating continent during our many getaways over the years. During that time, we made our Avignon house available to guests which was also our base when we returned to France on vacation. Back on my homeland, I will be delighted to talk with you about Avignon, this city that I know so well and that I hope you will appreciate, and that you will also have why not, the time to expand your walks elsewhere in Provence... Our picks from the heart: A lunch on the terrace before a cinema session at Utopia, this real Avonnais institution. A dinner in the beautiful courtyard of the Cour d 'Honneur in the Joseph Vernet neighborhood A Sunday morning in the fleas of Place des Carmes Carpentras Truffle Market (in winter) Sharing the waters at Isle sur la Sorgue after strolling through the villages of flea markets The cellars of Châteauneuf du Pape, Gigondas and Vacqueyras to name a few A getaway to Saintes Maries de la Mer or Aiguës Mortes for a Camargue touch And why not, the Marseille experience of the Stade Vélodrome! I will be happy to welcome travelers from all over the world! See you soon, Dear Future Guests, Born and raised in Provence, I've lived during 17 years in Asia with my family. During all those years, while we were traveling and discovering Asian countries, I have opened the doors to our house in Avignon to travelers from around the world, house, which was also our pied-à-terre when we were on holidays in France. We are now back in Provence, and will be more than happy to give you some tips on what to do in Avignon, which I hope you will enjoy as well, and hopefully you will also have the time to visit the gorgeous surrounding areas... Our favorite things to do: Lunch in one of the terraces in the city before a movie at Utopia, a true Avignon's institution. A diner in the magnificent Cour d'Honneur's courtyard, in Joseph Vernet neighborhood. A sunday morning at Place des Carmes' flea market. Carpentras' truffle market (during winter). The Partage des Eaux at Isle sur la Sorgue after having wandered in the antiques sellers villages. The wine cellars of Châteauneuf du Pape, Gigondas and Vacqueyras to name a few. An escapade at Saintes Maries de la Mer or Aiguës Mortes. And why not a trip to Marseille's Vélodrome Stadium. I will be happy to welcome travelers from around the world! See you soon, Marine
