Nestled between Tonasket and Republic, we welcome visitors to our beautiful and well appointed efficiency apartment with kitchenette. We love the area and are eager to share the hidden gems that abound here. We are happy to recommend rides or day drives in the region as well as other adventure advice for our area.

The space
You will enjoy all the comforts of home in our "Harley Davidson" themed efficiency kitchenette. The queen pillow top mattress, a fold out futon for a second queen (upon request), and a Fire Stick television platform that provides You Tube TV and all the basic channels. We ask that you specify whether you want one bed or two in advance of your arrival. The kitchenette is simple but practical and includes an induction cook top, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, hot water kettle, and coffee maker. Coffee and tea are provided as well as other amenities. Pets under 30 lbs are allowable, but please discuss your pet situation with the host in advance. The deck outside provides spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and wildlife strolling through the property is popular with our guests. For those who enjoy the outdoors, there is a private gas grill, picnic table, and camp fire in your own private backyard space that overlooks the garden.

To the north, our Canadian neighbors offer a variety of outdoor activities along with some of the best winery's you'll find anywhere.
To the west is the historic Old West town of Winthrop that leads to the spectacular North Cascades Highway.
To the east is one of our favorite motorcycle day rides that takes you through the town of Republic and beyond over Sherman Pass to the Columbia River and the Kettle Falls area. Both Republic and Kettle Falls have great local brew pubs with good food.

Our home we call The Lazy C is located 20 miles east of Tonasket, WA off Highway 20 near a one building town called Wauconda. We enjoy a semi-retired lifestyle on 20 acres of forested land and stay busy with all sorts of projects at The Lazy C, "Where doing nothing is OK”. We enjoy meeting and entertaining guests at our wilderness retreat in the woods.
