Welcome to our house, a converted country house from 1700, with stunning views of Mont-Blanc, 15 mins away from the local ski resort of Courmayeur.
The interior seamlessly integrates old decor with the warmth of locally sourced wood, creating an ambiance that is both functional and eco-friendly. The windows frame picturesque views of the surrounding landscape, allowing natural light to illuminate the space and providing a connection to the outdoors.

The space
As you step into the house, you will appreciate the calmness and the welcoming atmosphere.

The living area, furnished with pieces from local artisans, becomes a haven for relaxation and contemplation.

The compact kitchen is fully equipped with all the basics you need to prepare light meals using the finest ingredients from the region.

The first room is located on the ground floor, with an en suite bathroom. This room is available ONLY for reservation with 5 or more paying guests.

On the second floor, you will find the master bedroom and an additional room, which can be used as a work space or as a bedroom, with 2 single beds available. Finally there is the second bathroom at the end of the corridor

PETS: dogs and/or cats are allowed and will be charged a fee that depending on the reservation length and/or period can go from 100 to 300 Euro. The fee will be applied automatically by Airbnb on the listing price, once you selected the amount of pets in the reservation

IMPORTANT: this listing is a old house in the countryside, very close to nature, forest, rivers and built with local stone, with some parts carved out from stone. This means, among other things:

1) we have a lot of little visitors stopping by inside and outside of our premises: insects, lots of beautiful spiders, sometimes very cute mice
2) a bit of dust or the occasional spider web can naturally appear even shortly after cleaning. This is normal in the area, and we do our best to keep everything tidy
3) during winter, heating is provided by a pellet stove and radiators. As the house heat insulation is old and to stay environmentally conscious, the indoor temperature stays between 17°C at night and 19°C during the day. We’re not able to increase it beyond this range
4) no heating provided between May and September (both months included)
5) our village has very strict rules about trash and recycling. Guests are kindly asked to dispose of all waste in the designated public bins, not inside the house. A €50 deposit is included in the booking and will be refunded in full ONLY IF everything has been properly sorted and taken to the public bins upon checkout. You’ll receive a clear guide at check-in with the location of the bins and easy step-by-step instructions
6) Our house is part of a small village of 10 houses. We all share the same water supply and from time to time, we have low level of pressure. Just be patient and avoid to take a shower while other taps are turned on

Guest access
The Chalet has his own access and the unit is fully independent.
There are 2 separate units, with separate access, with which you will share the patio and outdoor space, including a cozy garden overlooking the beautiful valley.

Other things to note
The heating system consists of a pellet stove, which has been installed because it is a more environmentally friendly choice.

For this reason, during the winter, we will need to perform maintenance activities to make sure the pellet stove works well and complies with local safety regulations. Particularly:

For 2 days stay, you are responsible ONLY to refill the pellet in the stove (once per day, we will provide the pellet in 15kgs bags).

For 3 days stay and above, our maintenance person will be coming every other day starting on day 2 (example for a 3 days stay, this person will come on day 2, for a 4 days stay this person will come on day 2 and 4): he/she will clean the pellet stove as well as refill it. The cost for each cleaning session will be 50 Euro per cleaning/refill and it is mandatory to be compliant with local regulations.

The cleaning will be scheduled for you between 9am and 6pm (the person coming is trusted and he/she will have the keys to enter, no need for you to be in the property)
