Important Notes:

Seasonal Weather:

Summer: Because the Dreamy Dome is a tent structure, it can become warmer inside during the hottest part of the afternoon, especially on sunny days. The mini split is designed to keep the space comfortable, but it may take a little time to cool the dome if it has absorbed heat throughout the day.

Winter: Be prepared for winter weather from November through April. Our gravel road may be icy or snowy, so we recommend a four-wheel-drive vehicle, good tires, and possibly snow chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for potentially hazardous road conditions. There will be no refunds, allowances, or date changes due to weather conditions beyond our control.

Disconnect and Unwind: Charge your devices with the provided electricity and enjoy the natural surroundings.

Being set in the woods: Nature is right on our doorstep, with all types of critters (large and small). While close encounters are rare, occasionally, some curious critters may even decide you are worth seeing up close.

Pet: A $200 pet fee for up to one dog. $100 of the pet fee is refundable within 3 days of check-out, provided there are no pet damages.

Don't just visit the mountains—immerse yourself in a glamping experience that will create memories to last a lifetime. Book your stay at our GeoDome today and connect with nature like never before!

Guest access

Please refrain from walking up the hill to the house. This is a separately rentable home.

Other things to note
Our pet fee is $200 for one dog. $100 of this fee is refundable within 7 days of checkout, provided no pet damage is found.

Our home is in the High Country!

What does this mean for you?

In colder / snowy seasons, you WILL need snow tires or chains, and an all-wheel- or 4-wheel-drive vehicle. The weather in the mountains can change in an instant, and we may not be able to accommodate adding extra days to your stay in inclement weather. Please ensure your vehicle is properly equipped for mountain driving in snow conditions.

During warmer seasons, please exercise caution around wildlife. We have foxes, deer, and even bears! Do not leave any food or trash outside the dome. Do not leave food in your vehicles. Please drive carefully, as we frequently see newborn deer crossing the road in late spring/early summer.

*** Please remember that we do get snow, rain, fog, and other occasional inconveniences that are out of our control here in the mountains. Winter weather typically occurs here from November to April. This property is accessed and maintained via a semi-steep gravel road and gravel parking area, which may be icy or snowy during winter weather. For your safety and your party's safety, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means four-wheel drive, good tires, and possibly snow chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for potentially hazardous road conditions. There will be no refunds, allowances, or date changes due to weather conditions beyond our control. ***
