We want your stay at our cottage to be as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. You have full access to our cottage and private shoreline, where you can unwind and embrace the beauty of the surroundings. We kindly ask that you respect the privacy and boundaries of our neighbors by refraining from walking on their beaches or accessing their shoreline areas. It’s important to maintain a harmonious atmosphere within the community. However, feel free to make the most of our own private shoreline and make unforgettable memories during your time at the cottage.
Other things to note
Important Rules and Notes - Please Read Before Booking
1. Private Water Shoreline: Each house in this community has its own private water shoreline. Please do not walk or trespass along the beachfront outside our property boundary.
2. Firewood and Quiet Hours: Kindly bring your own wood and fire starter. We observe quiet hours after 10 pm to ensure a peaceful environment.
3. Mosquito Repellent and Noise Control: Please remember to bring mosquito repellent/sprays/cream for your comfort, as our cottage is in conservation and marshes area, mosquitos are common here during summer season. Loud music is strictly prohibited at all times. Any noise complaints from our neighbors may result in cancellation without refund, and guests will be asked to leave the cottage immediately. Also, please respect the boundaries and shorelines of our neighbors and the adjacent Cabin/Loft.
4. Guest Count and Notification: Only the number of people listed during booking are allowed on the property throughout the stay. Inform the host in advance if any additional guests will be present. Violation of this rule may result in fines and rule violations.
5. Respect Privacy: Enjoy your time while being considerate of the privacy of others in the community.
6. BBQ and Gas Fireplace: We cannot guarantee that the BBQ tank will be filled, so it’s recommended to bring your own tank. The gas fireplace table operates on a propane cylinder, and while we provide one, we cannot guarantee the availability of gas. You can refill it at a nearby gas station, just a 5-minute drive away.
7. Pet Policy: If you plan to bring a pet, please select the appropriate option during booking and pay the necessary pet fees. Any presence of a pet on the premises without notifying the host may result in immediate cancellation of the booking without any refund. The maximum pet allow are 2, if you are bringing more than 2 pets, contact Hosts first before you book the cottage.
8. If you choose to use the Pelican pedal boat, we kindly request that you refrain from dragging it into the lake and back. Please make sure to carry the boat to the lake and back to its original position. Additionally, should any part of the boat become damaged during your use, we kindly ask that you assume liability for its repair or replacement costs. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
9. Our cottage has no policy for Recharging Electrical vehicles. If any guests plug in the electrical vehicles to recharge their cars or any vehicles then host will charge them $50 per night from the guests.
10. We provide 3 to 4 white garbage bags for your stay. Please note that this is a strict limit. If you generate additional garbage beyond the provided bags, we kindly ask that you take the excess garbage with you upon checkout.
