The space
Koi Kottage is a storybook like Scandinavian Style Cottage located in the Golf Club Community of Maggie Valley- a 2min drive to a stunning public golf course. It's a custom built cottage situated perfectly between- just a 10 minute drive from - Lake Junaluska for summer swimming and boating, and Cataloochee Ski Resort for skiing and snow tubing in winter. It's a place to enjoy all year round!

This is the perfect vacation home for a group of friends ready for hiking and time adventuring in the great outdoors, families traveling together or 1 big family vacation. It has 1900sq feet split over 3 levels. Each level has a full bathroom which is very convenient. Koi Kottage sits on 3/4 acres of beautiful gardens with a huge natural pond, walking paths and plenty of outdoor seating. We provide birdseed and fish food for our guests. Our weatherized treehouse is a huge hit for kids and includes 2 twin size sleeping cots, a hammock, pulley and basket, and checkers game inside!

* First level includes 1 Queen Bedroom, Livingroom with SmartTv, Game room with board games, pool table & ping pong, and full bathroom with shower. This level is air conditioned and completely step free for easy access. Located on bottom level with easy access to patio, lower garden, treehouse and parking area.

* Second level has 1 Queen Bedroom with office area, Livingroom with SmartTV and wood stove, Dining area, full Kitchen, and 1 bathroom with shower/tub. There are 4 sets of french doors that lead onto deck areas and balconies to sit and enjoy the scenery. The back deck includes the grill area and hot tub with direct access to the large koi pond. Please note - this level does NOT have air conditioning. The customization of this cottage doesn't allow for an ac unit on this level. The French doors do have screens for ventilation and there are plenty of fans for air flow to make it very comfortable.

* Third Level includes 1 air conditioned King Bedroom and a Loft with twin trundle beds. There are multiple reading areas to curl up with your favorite book. The loft area has it’s own Juliet balcony that overlooks the property and back deck. There is 1 full bathroom with shower on this level.

* All beds have Green tea mattresses with premium bedding and pillows. Premium shower products provided in all bathrooms.

* Up to 2 Dogs (well behaved and potty trained) are allowed with prior approval and a paid pet fee of $100 with reservation.

Guests will receive a front door access code within 12hrs of check-in. The code will expire at check-out.

Other things to note
There is plenty of parking including trailer parking on the property.

We have recently added a 6 person hot tub on the back deck and a combo pool/ping pong/boardgame table on the ground level. We also have many sitting areas, patios, a hammock, and dining tables to enjoy the outdoors.

Guests must bring all dog care accessories including food/water dishes , leash, and poop bags. Dogs are required to be on a leash when outside and owners are required to pick up the poop. Crates are to be kept on ground level of the cottage. There is no fenced yard. Dogs are not allowed in the treehouse.

Maggie Valley Golf Club is in our community and less than 5min drive down the hill from Koi Kottage. It is a beautiful public pay to play golf course. They also offer a delicious restaurant on the premisis.
