Welcome to our cottage in the countryside village of Kimstad. The cottage is on our property, bordered by the forest and surrounded by beautiful nature.
The cottage has room for 2 guests on the kingsize bed and 2 extra guests on the convertible sofa (120cm bed).
You can also enjoy a fully private wood-fired sauna right next to the cottage (available at an extra cost).
The space
The stuga (cottage in Swedish) is situated in Kimstad, between Norrköping (15km) and Linköping (30km), and it is right by a small forest. You can observe deer and birds in tranquility as it is surrounded by nature. You have plenty of opportunities for short walks and longer hikes to the many nature reserves around Kimstad. There are also adult bikes to borrow for free to visit the Löfstad Slott castle (4km) or Norsholm (5km) and the many cafés around there. Kimstad is very close to Göta Kanal (5km), and conveniently situated to visit Kolmården Zoo (30km).
There is a bedroom with a kingsize bed for two adults, which can be split into two single beds (90x200) upon request. Bed linens are provided.
The convertible sofa can host two more adults (or kids) in the living room. We have also a crib for toddlers to borrow.
There is a small kitchen and a practical bathroom. Outside seatings. And a BBQ grill is available.
Enjoy a traditional Nordic sauna experience in a peaceful setting, perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors. Private access (approx. 2–3 hours per session).

The cottage is easily accessible from the E4 between Norrköping and Linköping. You can park your car right outside the cottage. There is space for an RV / camping car if needed (which can be charged for a fee). The train station is also 1km away, easily accessible on foot in 10min, with regular commuter trains to downtown Linköping and Norrköping.

We have two SUP boards and one inflatable kayak to rent if you wish to navigate on the Göta Kanal, the river Motala Ström, or on lake Roxen or Glan nearby (300kr/day).
