Welcome to our beautiful home nestled in the heart of Gilford, NH! Located on historic Lockes Hill, this property once overlooked the iconic Kimball Castle, which recently burned down. While the castle is gone, the area still retains its historic charm and offers breathtaking Lakes Region views.

Just 10 minutes from Gunstock Resort and minutes from Lake Winnipesaukee, this home is the perfect year-round escape to enjoy New Hampshire’s outdoors.

The home features 3 spacious bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 6 guests. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, providing everyone with privacy and convenience during your stay. 🏰 A Historic Landmark

This house is situated on the former estate of Kimball Castle, a cherished local landmark that tragically burned down in August 2025. Once the summer residence of railroad magnate Benjamin Ames Kimball, the castle was built in the late 1890s and modeled after castles along Germany’s Rhine River. It stood as a testament to his vision and craftsmanship, overlooking the serene Lake Winnipesaukee.

The castle was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and became a beloved point of interest for visitors to the Lakes Region. While the structure has been lost, its legacy endures in the breathtaking views and the rich history that surrounds our home.
