Located in a peaceful spot just a 10 minute walk from Saundersfoot stunning beach & picturesque harbour. Saundersfoot itself boasts many delightful beach front cafes, shops, restaurants and traditional pubs. Kantara is a family home which offers everything required for a truly relaxing seaside break. We have a family and dog friendly house and garden, with a hot tub & plenty of room for everyone to enjoy.

The space
This self-catering house which sleeps 12, enters into the hallway and leads through to the spacious open plan lounge/kitchen area which boasts a large breakfast bar and provides the perfect space for friends and family to gather. The stylish kitchen is well-equipped with dishwasher, wine cooler fridge, electric hob, oven, grill, coffee machine and fridge freezer and a door leads off to the utility room which is further equipped with a washing machine. Another door off the kitchen conveniently opens into the dining room which offers plenty of space for 12 guests to dine together. Comfortable sofa seating is located around the large UHD smart TV with Netflix and Disney plus. There are french doors leading out to the peaceful terrace and garden which provides a lovely sun-trap during the summer months. The garden benefits from outdoor Rattan corner sofa seating, dining table and chairs and gas BBQ. The main feature of the garden is, of course, the bubbling hot tub which offers the perfect place to unwind after a busy day exploring the Pembrokeshire coast! Please note that the hot tub will be checked daily in accordance with the hse guidelines and for the safety of our guests.
A 'snug' lounge is located off the dining room and this room offers a peaceful retreat with sofa seating around the cosy log burner and UHD smart TV. Also located on the ground floor off the dinning room is a spacious shower room with large walk-in shower, wc and whb.
From the hallway, stairs lead up to the beautifully decorated bedrooms. The large master bedroom benefits from a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room with large walk in shower, wc and whb. The windows in this bedroom look out over the garden and offer distant but beautiful views over the wonderful Pembrokeshire coast and woodland. Two further large bedrooms offer king-size beds with one of these bedrooms additionally furnished with a chaise longue. There is also a fourth double bedroom. For the children there are two twin bedrooms, sleeping 2 in each room. One room has a pull out bed which is smaller than a standard single and can only be used by a child. Our house is best suited to a max of 8 adults.
The family bathroom has a stand-alone bath and a separate walk-in shower, wc and whb.
This beautiful holiday home is decorated, equipped and furnished to an extremely high standard throughout and further benefits include central heating, WiFi, Netflix and Disney plus. Outside there is parking for up to three cars on the drive and one on the road blocking the others in and also another seating area for guests to enjoy. We also have an outdoor hot tap for washing the dogs, wet suits and body boards. Please also note we have a ring doorbell on the front door.
New for winter 2023 curtains have been fitted to all bedroom windows in addition to the blinds.
Check-in days are Monday's and Fridays only without prior arrangement. We offer short breaks outside of school holidays. These stays are either Mon - Fri ( 4 nights ) or Fri - Mon (3 nights ). For any other check in/out days please contact me before booking and I will try to accommodate.
Kantara is now offering a range of personal touches from booking restaurants or activities to organising balloons, cakes and food platter packages. I will also set up the dining room table and ensure the fridge is stocked with wines/beers ready for you arrival....to start your holiday in the right way!! We also can arrange a dog sitter for your furry friends should you fancy dining out without them. A truly relaxing stay-cation in beautiful Pembrokeshire. Just ask when booking for more details.
Guest access
We have parking for 3 cars on the drive and one behind. So only 4 cars max. There are several car parks in the centre of the village (2 min drive) which are less than £5 a day and also free parking outside Saundersfoot school.
Other things to note
For babies & children…We have two travel cots, a high chair, stair gates, plastic plates & cutlery, microwave steriliser, bouncy chair, baby bath and a stroller pram available for guests to use during their stay. We do not provide cot bedding but we have blankets.
For dogs…We have a dog crate, leave a towel & blanket, a bowl, biscuits and have an outdoor hot and cold taps to clean them down after a day on the beach. We do not provide dog bedding and we ask that you do not leave your dog unattended in our house.
We leave a starter pack for guests which includes….6 toilet rolls, t-towels & dish cloths, a kitchen roll, hand soap, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, bin bags, cleaning products and tea/coffee/sugar & salt and pepper. Our coffee machine takes dolce gusto tablets.
We also leave guests a welcome pack which includes….milk, small cereal selection pack, large bag of crisps & Welsh cakes.
We also have a ring doorbell on the front door.
Please note are only able to accommodate a max of 12 guests which includes babies and children and up to 2 dogs. We also cannot accommodate 12 adults because of the small single rooms, so our house is best suited to a max of 8 adults. No stag or hen do’s excepted. Please make sure if you are bringing a dog you clear up after it.
