The Kaname Townhouse is a traditional Nagaya style townhouse with all of the modern comforts. Rebuilt by traditional Daiku craftsmen, it has all of the modern comforts packed inside an authentic traditional Japanese small home. The property features a living room with a Sakura view and can sleeps up to 5 guests across 2 floors. Key features include a loft bedroom with a kingsize bed, full size kitchen, modern bathroom, and is equipped with a dishwasher, washer+dryer, and high-speed Wi-Fi.

The space
The property features a signature Japanese style living room with a view of a sakura tree right outside the window. It is a magnificent view during the sakura season, with guests able to enjoy the sakura view all day from the comfort of the living room.
The townhouse is a traditional Japanese small home, and is compact with a total of 40 square meters (20 on each floor), but we have built it to be one of the most comfortable experiences one can imagine. There are nooks and lofts that maximize the space and welcomes guests to enjoy the beautiful traditional Japanese architecture. The townhouse is fully equipped with all of the modern comforts starting with a bathroom with heated floors (does not feature a bathtub), full size kitchen with dishwasher, washer+dryer, and fiber optic high-speed WiFi.
The Townhouse provides guest with the unique opportunity to experience Tokyo as a local. While providing easy access to all of the favorite tourist destinations, guest also have the option to explore Tokyo's true potential by shopping for the best wagu, sashimi, or sake all around town to then bring them back to the townhouse to relax and enjoy among fellow guests. The property features hotpot for hosting sukiyaki or shabu-shabu for a great night to enjoy the very best Tokyo has to offer.

The townhouse is located in the Ikebukuro neighborhood. Access from Narita airport is approximately 75 mins via train. Haneda Airport is 60 mins via train. Access to all of the favorite destinations is easy. The townhouse is 3 mins walk from Tokyo Metro Kaname-cho Station which provides direct single ride access to all of the favorite destinations via the Tokyo Metro. Shibuya, Shinjuku, Harajuku, Nakameguro, Ginza, and the Tokyo fish market are all 1 train ride away. The property is also a 13 mins walk from Ikebukuro station on the JR Yamanote-line. Ikebukuro is a mecca for Tokyo sub-culture featuring amazing spots to visit such as Pokemon Center mega Tokyo, Animate, Capcom Plaza, Sanrio Ikebukuro, and many others. It is a major shopping destination as well with Bic Camera, Yodobashi, Yamada, PARCO, and Sunshine City all around Ikebukuro station.
