Welcome to Just Plane Cosy! To keep with aircraft tradition, we have named our tiny home “Maiden Seattle”. She is a fully functional off-grid, Eco-friendly, all the mod-cons, super cool, airline themed Tiny Home! We think the first of its kind!

Our tiny home sits in a secluded spot on a beautiful farm just outside of Robertson in the beautiful Southern Highlands, only about a 2 hour drive south of Sydney’s CBD. The property has a lovely rainforest stream and resident sheep, alpacas & wombats!

The space
We lovingly sourced parts and memorabilia from all over the world over the last few years to go into our tiny home. And as our love of Tiny Homes started in Seattle and Boeing (our favorite being the 747) is located in Seattle..."MAIDEN SEATTLE" was born!

We hope you enjoy your stay and interacting with all of the airline memorabilia and aircraft parts you don't normally get to play with when you are on a plane.

But we also have everything to make you feel right at home including a comfy couch, smart tv, full kitchen, bathroom with composting toilet and full size hot shower, queen sized bed in the loft, and an amazing patio area with Weber BBQ.

The kitchen includes most everything you could need to cook up a storm! It has a large sized fridge with separate freezer (large for a tiny home!), 2-burner gas cook top, full sized gas/electric oven, and all the pots, pans, bowls, utensils, plates, glasses, and cutlery you may need during your stay.

And it is only 10 minutes drive from the nearest local town, which has a great pub, restaurants, cafes, gift shops, pharmacy, butcher shop, fruit shop, and a small supermarket!

You will have exclusive access to the Tiny Home and the area around it bounded by the fences and stream. Feel free to explore and enjoy the common property including the nearby rainforest stream and say hi to the resident alpacas and sheep! Please only enter other buildings on the property with permission. Please be advised that as it is a working farm, electric fences are on the property. On that note, if you open a gate, please close it behind you.

Other things to note
If you are having trouble securing the dates you would like, check out our second Airline Themed Tiny Home called "Calgary Cutie". It is located on the other side of the property nestled amongst the trees!

Sorry, no dogs are allowed on the property as the alpacas are not dog friendly.

Our custom built 747 Tyre Gas Fire Pit is located on the deck! It is smoke-free and puts out a lot of heat to keep you toasty. Please note that it may not be available during fire bans due to government regulations.

There is no Wi-Fi at the property but there is phone and data reception. Optus and Telstra both work great! Please note that there is no Vodafone reception. No need for Wi-Fi when we have filled the tiny home with cool airline stuff ;)

Neighborhood highlights

The Southern Highlands is an amazing part of NSW, less than a 2 hour drive from the centre of Sydney, 45 minutes from Wollongong, and only 2 hours from Canberra! It is filled with bush walks, waterfalls, wildlife (including wombats!), and beautiful vistas. Not to mention the delicious local produce and amazing wineries! Robertson, the closest village, is famous for potatoes and the farm we landed on used to be a potato farm, but is now home to alpacas!

The closest waterfall to us is Carrington Falls and she is spectacular! Also close by is the Illawarra Fly Tree Top Walk and Zipline Adventures for those seeking a bit more action.

We are so happy to have landed Maiden Seattle in this beautiful region and we hope you enjoy your flight with us!

Hey there! We are working flight attendants with an Australian based airline for the last 15 years as well as aircraft enthusiasts! We love to travel and we have a fixation with Tiny Homes! So as you can see, we have started our own Airline Themed Tiny Homes and have pimped them up with aircraft parts & airline memorabilia! We also are one of the few people in Australia who fly hot air balloons and we travel with our balloons all over the place!
