Being just by the beach you will find the vibe pretty cruisy on Grant Place. There is swimming, fishing and surfing activities here. The surf lifesaving club is also close if you wish to swim between the flags you can walk 5/10 min up the beach to them. No noisy road being just off Papamoa Beach Rd however you can hear the waves crashing onto the shore - so relaxing at night. Palm Beach Plaza, PaknSav, cinema, cafes, misc shopping all 5 minutes by car. Summerhill for mountain biking is just 10 minutes away. A choice of hot pools for relaxing between 20 minutes to Mt Maunganui or in Rotorua an hour away.
