Cabin with 4 bedrooms, all with bunk beds, as well as a spacious and pleasant loft. In total there are 16 beds. The cabin has an idyllic location by a tributary to the Kragerøvassdraget, with a large network of cycling, hiking and paddling routes right outside the door. The cabin comes with a boat, kayak and two canoes, and there is free fishing in the nearby waterway. The cabin is only a 40-minute drive from Bø Sommarland

The space
The cabin is idyllically located at the end of a gravel road, about 5 kilometers from county road 3310. In autumn, the cabin is popular with hunters, but in summer it is available for holiday guests who want nature experiences in quiet surroundings. The cabin is located by a tributary to the beautiful Kragerøvassdraget, and is connected to a network of marked cycling, hiking and paddling routes.

The area has an exciting local history, including a World War II plane wreck a few kilometers away. A 50 km long, marked bicycle route runs just behind the cabin, and in the nearby area there are several marked hiking trails – including the trips to Luberg and Åsland farm, both of which are only a few kilometers away.

The cabin is located approx. 15 kilometers from the town of Lunde, and only 40 minutes drive from Bø Sommarland.**

Guest access
Guests lock themselves in and have the entire cabin for themselves.

Other things to note
The cabin is simply furnished and is perfect for those who want "simple living" near nature. Here there is an outhouse, gas stove and electricity from a solar power system that covers the basic needs. The kitchen is equipped with the most necessary.

A railway line between Drangedal and Lunde passes nearby, but this is fenced and has rare departures. The water at the cabin is shallow with a muddy bottom, and we therefore recommend paddling out to the bathing jetty which is about 50 meters from the cabin, for those who want to swim. Mobile coverage in the area is limited, but it is usually possible to make and receive calls. WiFi is installed in the cabin. This works quite well, but has low speed.

Fishing in the waters around the cabin is free and no fishing license is required. Trout is easy to catch, even if it is not big. On evenings with little wind, we recommend to fire up the fire pan to keep knots and mosquitoes away.

The cabin has duvets and pillows. Guests must bring their own bed linen and clean the cabin after use. It is possible to order cleaning for NOK 800, and bed linen can be purchased on site for NOK 100 per person.**

N.B. It is not possible to charge electric cars at the facility. Charging an electric car will cause the power system to collapse and must be reset by an authorized electrician.

Where you’ll be

Drangedal, Vestfold og Telemark, Norway

You will have the cottage and the neighborhood all to yourselves. Another hunting lodge is located about 300 meters from the cabin that is also rented. In the evening you will be able to drive on the gravel roads or paddle on the reed to go on beaver or moose safari. It's also great to sit by the fire pit down by the water at night. The cabin is only 40 minutes from Sommerland in Bø.
