Looking for the perfectly located Cabin to access Hurricane Ridge and discover some of the best hikes, skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing spots on the Olympic Peninsula? The Ink Pad is the closest home located to the Olympic National Park entrance. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway cabin. Outfitted with unique and beautiful features, this rare cabin is the home base for the summer or winter adventurer. Experience a rare insight to living on the Peninsula with this forest cabin.

The space
The space has beautiful new outfittings that keep a group happy with games, a toasty wood stove, and more unique amenities that are magical like an outdoor elvin wood bar.

Guest access
Guests have access to a beautiful front and backyard sanctuary that boasts breathtaking views of trees and direct access to the Olympic National Park entrance.

Other things to note
This is the epitome of a mountain cabin - the perfect getaway for snow sportsmen that want more time on the mountain and less time driving.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A MOUNTAIN CABIN, AWD is recommended in winter months. Still, front-wheel drive with all-season or studded tires are typically adequate. The Hurricane Ridge and Lake Dawn Roads are plowed and sanded regularly when it snows. The community of homes along Heather Park Road contracts with a private contractor to clear snow from the road and driveways. If the Heather Park Road and Ink Pad driveway are not plowed, guests can park in the designated space on Lake Dawn Road. The Ink Pad is located between Heather Park and Lake Dawn Road and is accessible from both.

The other weather/road-related info that is helpful is the ONP phone number with recorded, daily updates on the status of Hurricane Ridge Road, 360*565*3131. They start with the Hurricane Ridge Road report and then discuss other road issues/closures in the rest of the park.

I’m passionate about creating spaces that go beyond a place to sleep — thoughtfully designed sanctuaries where nature, creativity, and real relaxation come together. My properties on the Olympic Peninsula are curated for travelers who want to feel genuinely at home, let loose, and connect — with the landscape, with each other, and with themselves. Life is better when the space around you inspires it.
