Located in the Stillwater Valley and Beartooth foothills, we are close to many Montana adventures, including wildlife viewing, fishing, hunting, hiking, Tippet Rise, whitewater rafting, horseback riding and downhill skiing. We are 30 minutes from Red Lodge. You’ll love our cabin for its clean, comfortable, relaxing and private atmosphere where the views are unbelievable. Our comfortable cabin is great for everyone!
The space
Our spacious one-room cabin with private bath offers all of the comforts of home and comfortably sleeps four guests. We have a spacious kitchenette complete with all the cookware needed to make simple meals, including induction cookware electric burner, large electric skillet, electric fry pan, crockpot, microwave, large toaster oven and air fryer. Outside we provide a gas grill. We have a 12 cup coffee pot and a Kuerig with multiple coffee choices. Relax in the cabin and enjoy the rustic charm of antiques and pictures of days gone by, or sit on the porch and enjoy the breathtaking views of 4 mountain ranges, including the famous Beartooth Mountains.

Guests have access to hiking around the property and up in the hills.
Other things to note
We do allow well behaved pets for an additional $20.00. Pre-approval is required. We also have a very large indoor pen available in our arena if you are traveling with dogs that are not accustomed to being inside a home. We also have wonderful accommodations for horses. Please inquire on pricing.

Neighborhood highlights
Get a true sense of living in Montana while staying at our cabin. We are located in a small neighborhood in the middle of horse and cattle country here. Sit on the porch and enjoy the views of the mountains and our famous big blue skies while watching the cattle, horses and even ranch raised Buffalo nearby. The deer are abundant around the property and enjoy the large hills in the back. Get a feel for the true sense of Montana….You may have to drive through a small herd of cattle along the driveway, or watch our horses graze near to the cabin, deer are plenty and are often on the cabin lawn, watch cowboys ride up the hills, view eagles soaring over the hills looking for prey and on rare occasions you may here gunfire from target practice when hunting season is near. My husband and I are wild game processors so you may even see a huge bull elk or buck that was harvested nearby. You may even find yourself in the middle of a cattle drive as you travel around the area ! This is what Montana is about….it is the last best place ….

We traveled for many years to Montana from Wisconsin and knew at some point we would make Montana home. In 2015 after looking at many properties we fell in love with the Stillwater valley and made our dream a reality. We love the beauty, the adventures and the people here. Sharing this area with family, friends and guests makes us happy.
