Modern family cabin on Norefjell Vest, with good sun conditions and beautiful views of Eggedal. The cabin has 12 beds divided into three bedrooms and a loft. It is equipped with fast wireless internet, 2 TVs, fireplace, EV charger, underfloor heating and well-equipped kitchen. Hiking trails and ski slopes start just outside the cabin. Norefjell ski center is a 15 minute drive. In the summertime you can swim and fish in the lake only a 5 minute walk away. The cabin is perfect for both families and adults who want to enjoy the tranquility of the mountain.
The space
We are a family of four who love being at the cabin and we want to share it with others when we are not there.
The cabin is a modern 2022 mountain lodge, ideal for families seeking comfort in scenic surroundings.
It sleeps 12 in three bedrooms and a spacious loft. Two bedrooms have bunk beds with widths of 150 cm and 90 cm, one bedroom has a double bed 160 cm wide and the loft has 4 single beds 80 cm wide. The beds in the loft can be stacked two and two to provide more floor space.
The cottage has a large bathroom with shower and toilet, in addition to a separate toilet. It has a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen is well equipped with coffee maker, airfryer, dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge, freezer and kitchen machine. With high-speed Wi-Fi from Starlink, the whole family can stream or work without any problems, and the fireplace provides extra warmth and a cozy atmosphere. Smart thermostats ensure that the cabin is comfortably heated upon your arrival and a selection of board games will ensure pleasant evenings together.
The cabin is located on a sunny natural plot of over 1000 square meters, 920 meters above sea level, with south-west facing views of Eggedal. On the terrace you can enjoy the view and use the fire pit to barbecue. There is parking for 2-3 cars in the courtyard, and the cabin also has its own EV charger.
From the cabin there is direct access to fantastic outdoor experiences, summer and winter. The hiking trails lead to Sjusjøen in Eggedal, which is suitable for swimming and fishing in the summer, as well as to mountain peaks such as Høgevarde at 1459 meters above sea level and Gråfjell at 1466 meters above sea level. In the winter the ski network is just over 50 meters from the cabin and stretches over 259 kilometers of trails that connect Norefjell and Haglebu together. For some speed and excitement you can drive to Norefjell ski center in 15 minutes.
The property is located in a quiet, new cabin field with blueberry heather in the fall, making it ideal for families with children and adults who want nature experiences and mountain tranquility all year round.
When it comes to distances, it only takes 11 minutes to drive to the center of Eggedal, where you will find a 24-hour grocery store, Vinmonopolet and a cozy restaurant. It takes 15 minutes to reach Norefjell ski center or Norefjell Ski & Spa, which has both restaurant, swimming pool and climbing wall. Noresund with its shops and Kiwi is 25 minutes away, as is the path to the Madonna Statue. To Haglebu it is 30 minutes drive, and Bjørneparken in Flå is only one hour away.
Other things to note
The cabin is not rented out for party, bachelorette or events.
The guest must tidy up and clean before check-out, bring trash, make beds, and wash dishes in the kitchen. Equipment and products for cleaning are available.
Cleaning of the cabin can be done by a cleaning agency for a surcharge of 1500 NOK.
You'll need to bring your own linens and towels. Alternatively, you can rent this for NOK 200 per person for the stay.
