Important Notes:
The road to the cabin is STEEP, leading you to a secluded and serene getaway. It is paved but accommodates one vehicle at a time. We recommend AWD/4WD vehicles for ease of access, and LOW PROFILE VEHICLES are not advised. Trailers and motorcycles are also not recommended. Conditions of the road and driveway can vary based on the season (Wet Leaves, Snow, Ice, etc.). In winter conditions, you may need to park at the bottom of the driveway if snow or ice makes it impassable. AWD/4WD is essential during the fall and winter months. A small dip marks the beginning of the driveway.

Your comfort and safety are our top priorities during your stay at our cabin, and we want to ensure that you have the best experience possible. Please take a moment to review the following important details:
🚗 The road to the cabin is STEEP, so please keep this in mind when planning your trip. 4WD/AWD vehicles are recommended. We do not suggest low-profile vehicles, motorcycles, or trailers. As you get used to the road, it becomes easier, and the stunning views make it worth it! Road and driveway conditions can change with the seasons. During icy or snowy conditions, you may need to park at the bottom of the driveway. AWD/4WD is required for late fall and winter weather.
While the cabin offers seclusion with its surrounding trees, there are neighbors in cabins above and below. You may hear them occasionally, especially when enjoying the deck area.
‼️ Travel Insurance Strongly Recommended ‼️ Unexpected events such as weather, natural disasters, power outages, or personal matters can occur. As we do not offer refunds for such issues, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your booking.
HOT TUB USAGE:
Our hot tub is a great amenity for relaxation, but please use it at your own risk. Detailed rules for safe hot tub usage are posted, and we ask that you follow them.
OCCUPANCY LIMITS:
The maximum number of guests allowed is 2, and we also limit the cabin to 2 vehicles.
Family-Friendly: Children Are Welcome!
We love hosting families, and children under 18 are welcome. We can provide a Pack and Play upon request, though you will need to bring your own linens for it. Please note that our cabin is not child-proofed, so we kindly ask that you supervise your children closely during your stay to ensure their safety.

🥩 Charcoal is not supplied, but it is available for purchase at local stores. Fire starter logs are also recommended for an easier grilling experience.

🐱 Allergy Considerations: No Cats Allowed:
Due to allergies, we cannot accommodate cats in our cabin. We appreciate your understanding as this policy ensures the comfort of all our guests.
🐜 Nature’s Company: Bugs, Wildlife, and Pests:
Our cabin is in a natural setting, and as such, you may encounter insects or wildlife. While we take care to ensure our cabin is pest-free through regular treatments and thorough cleaning, please be aware that some bugs are inevitable. We also have black bears in the area, so avoid leaving food or trash outside, and always lock your vehicle to prevent bears from entering.
‼️ Please be aware that early check-in or late check-out is not available unless specifically agreed upon. We appreciate your understanding and adherence to our set check-in/check-out times‼️
‼️ Our cabin is dog-friendly, but please note that some occasional pet hair may remain despite our thorough cleaning efforts. If you encounter pet hair, don’t hesitate to reach out, and we’ll take care of it! ‼️
‼️ The fireplace can only be used when no burn ban is in effect. Please refrain from using the fireplace if a burn ban is in place. ‼️
For the benefit of other guests, we kindly ask that dogs be crated when left alone at the cabin and not allowed on the furniture, especially if they shed. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pets.

$250 for improperly disposed smoking butts
$250 for smoking indoors
$100 for unauthorized guests
$50 for checkout beyond 30 minutes (then $75 per additional 30 minutes)
$500 for unauthorized fireplace usage during a burn ban
$150 for more than one dog
